When my husband went to pick up the vest, he was given a bill for $31! When they got home, I saw that the tailor had not just taken in the sides as we instructed, but had decided to also shorten the vest. He made it too short! To shorten it, he cut fabric off of the top of the front sides and lapped fabric over from the back. The widths where the back met the front didn't match. After one wearing, one of the topstitched seams was coming unravelled.
Terribly disappointed -- I sent him there because I had a good experience a few years ago, when the salesperson at Nordstrom recommended the place. Maybe there has been a change in ownership?

The lady was super sweet! She had plenty experience sewing patches and was even able to help with the placement. She had the work done within a few days and I think the price was reasonable and the quality was great. I would definitely use her again for alterations!
