Price and installation were excellent.

Tuff Shed did great. Their prices were extremely competitive and were professional. I had several particulars about this project in order to stay within my budget, and they were willing to work with me on all of them. They permitted, conducted the site plan, dug, poured the foundation, oversaw the concrete work, framed, sheathed, roofed, and installed windows and doors. I self-performed the siding, painting, gutters, pergola, electrical, and trim work in order for the project to meet my family's budget needs.
In all, it went great. At times (also based on my obsessiveness and familiarity with construction) I was the one who initiated much of the contact, but there were no hard feelings about that. I now have a well-built garage that had no problems with inspection which I now receive many compliments about. I would highly recommend anyone considering a garage build whether high or low end to consider Tuff Shed.

It went smoothly- they came and erected shed in a several hour period.  I did have a problem 6 wks out with the door handle sticking - they came out within several hours the same day and fixed it.  It is a beautiful shed and the installation went great.  I also liked the way all the information was presented by salesman Dave when I was making a choice of which shed to buy.

From the beginning, my studio/garage project was bereft with problems, and NONE of them were Tuff Shed's fault, but they still went above and beyond to help smooth things over.
First off: If you are building in Independence, Tuff Shed is the company to use.  Especially their sales rep, Bob Butcher.  He helped me overcome months of rezoning issues and obstacles that I feel other companies might neglect.  He worked with me for almost 6 months from beginning to end - far exceeding the normal 2 months!  And Bob was more than just a contractor or worker - he was personable, friendly and really attentive.
My studio was finally approved by the zoning commission and in less than 3 weeks, I have a complete studio/garage that gets me complements every time someone sees it.  And the workmanship was superb - I expected it to be marred by something that would drive my perfectionist eyes crazy.  But I have yet to find a single thing with the building and its appearance that hasn't exceeded my initial vision!  
The entire building took a day to complete and another 4 hours later for the garage door.  And yet, it looks like it took days to complete!  Speedy Gonzalez has nothing on the Tuff Shed workers!  
Finally, the overall quality is FANTASTIC!  Seriously - it makes my home look like dog doo, and makes me wish I could live in the studio instead!  And since Tuff Shed exceeded city/state codes on everything, I expect this studio to last much longer than my 50 year old house!  
Hands down, Bob Butcher and the Tuff Shed team are the real deal and I look forward to using them again when I get another bit of money to build a second studio!

The process was smooth. I worked with the Home Depot person that was in charge of the Tuff Sheds. He was very knowledgeable. Only rub here was the changing discounts but overall he was able to get me discounts I needed. The scheduling was no problem. the crew, two guys, arrived early, unloaded and went to work right away setting up the floor frame and leveling it.. Shed was an 8 X 12 X 6 ft tall garden-ranch style. Work was of a high quality, this is all these guys do over and over. Have no complaints. All materials and hardware are of a good to high quality. Have had one concern with roof shingles not laying flat ( I opted for the better quality option) Someone cane out to evaluate and said roof shingles needed more time to lay flat. I will call back in Spring if not flat. Has a great 5 yr guarantee.

The 3 man crew arrived on time (about 8:30 AM) and began work after unloading all the parts. The OSB floor went down over the steel floor joice and then the walls, which had been constructed at the factory, went up. By 11 AM the walls were up and they were ready to start on the roofing. While two were doing the roofing, the third man was working on the two 3 foot wide doors. The doors have a safety feature that prevents being locked inside.
As the walls and ends were going up one man applied a second coat of paint to all the walls. The walls come from the factory painted but once in place they get a second coat to cover any scratches from construction.
Roof was completed and then a walk-through for me. They pulled out by 4 PM and they even replaced a part of an grape arbum that had to come down to get the 8 foot high walls through. In fact, they used screws to put it in place which was better than the 8 penny nails I had used to construct it!

Went to their factory and showroom in Lenexa to see what it would cost to build a tall barn. They have lots of choices, options, ect. Looked at the sample ones they had built there too. Great looking product, with a 10 yr warranty.

My experience with the Tuff Shed rep and other crew was satisfactory. The framers were pleasant and responsive. There were a few design issues that were not quite as I had expected, but overall I can live with these. They were responsive to complete the final details of the job to my satisfaction. Subcontractors did the demolition and concrete work. I was not happy with their work and their response to my concerns about the job. They did some damage that they denied doing until I mentioned that I had taken pictures at all stages of the job. Crew urinated in my yard. I probably would not use Tuff Shed again if I had to have work done by these subs. I would use them again if the subs were not involved.

ON TIME, POLITE STAFF AND CREW. WE BOUGHT AN EXCELLENT BUILDING - GOOD QUALITY, ETC.

3 MAN CREW ON EXPECTED DATE @ 7 AM - WORKED VERY WELL TOGETHER. FINISHED PROJECT BY 5 PM. NO PROBLEMS YET.
