Tom Burge Jr. came out and assessed our situation after viewing and hearing about all of the issues we were unfortunately dealing with. We really liked him and the plan he came up with so he is who we selected. Because his work is so good, his business is in high demand resulting in a wait before the fence could be built. It was well worth the wait because all of the fencing is PERFECT! Tom's crew was great! 130' of 6' red cedar privacy fence + front gate was built along with another 130' of commercial grade 6' chain link fencing. All was just completed yesterday and we could not be happier with the finished project. Thanks to Tom & his fabulous crew we now feel safer while enjoying our yard again!

Love the fence. Took longer to begin actual work on the fence than I expected. Once work began it was completed quickly. Looks great. I was provided great advice on the design by Mr Burge.i

At the beginning of March we had landscaping done with a new patio by another company.  We removed the stairs leading down from the deck.  We contacted Burge Fence and was assigned to Graham.  We needed a new section immediately to replace the stair area that was removed.  Burge responded quickly to install a new section where the 2nd floor gap was left.  They also removed the section of fence where a new gate would be installed.  It goes down hill from here.  

After several phone calls over the course of 3 1/2 months we were promised that the gate would be installed by Wednesday, June 1.  It wasn't, but a bill for the installation did arrive.  My husband called the office (and not Graham this time because of all his broken promises) and the woman he talked to after his explanation of the past 3 1/2 months promised the gate would be installed by the end of the day.  It was.  The work was finally finished that Friday.  

If the deck section hadn't been installed immediately I would have given this work an F.  

Also, four years ago we used Burge for the installation of another gate.  Chris handled the job for us and all went well.  If you choose to use Burge, I highly suggest asking for Chris.  That is the only reason I said I would use them again.  Even at that if there are any problems call the office.  The woman got the job done immediately.

Overall, this was a good experience. I did have a couple of hiccups. I had to call the office 3 or 4 times to try and get an update on the timeline for my install. I would leave messages and receive no responses. The main office had no idea on the install schedule and I had to get ahold of the actual sales person to get an update. This seemed a little odd. My only other issue was around hidden fees. I live in a rocky area. The sales quote didn't mention anything about extra fees for removing rock. When I talked to the installer, he just said it was in the fine print of the contract. I didn't really like that response and thought the company should be a little more upfront with pricing. Other than that, great experience. I love my fence!

Very well. Met with Jeff Burge and got a firm quote with a 3 to 4 week delivery and install estimate.  Fence was installed approximately 2 weeks later. 3 man crew did the entire job except gate install from layout to cleanup in a little over 3 hrs. Gates were installed later as were custom fit to the opening size and slope and welded for stability. Gates were installed approximately 5 days later.

The fence is of excellent quality with an electrocoated epoxy primer and acrylic topcoat and has a 20 year warranty.

I would definitely recommend Burge to anyone wanting a quality fence at a fair price.

Tom Jr. and his team did a great job putting up our fence.  We got three bids on the job and there's was quiete a bit below the other two.  But based on the other reviews, I knew they'd do a good job.  It took several weeks to get the fence put up after it was scheduled due to them being busy and the rain, but this was understandable.

Tried to contact provider via email.  Slow to respond.  Ultimately did reply, indicating afternoons the following week were open for estimates.  I replied via email to try and pin down a date/time for fencing estimate, still no response. Finally, called provider only to find out availability was quite limited.  Inflexible with estimate dates/times.  Unfortunately, will take my business elsewhere -- provider's representative on the phone didn't seem at all bothered by this, no attempt to try and work with me.  I wish I had the opportunity to give a full review of a real experience with this company; however, it doesn't seem at all concerned with procuring new business, and, as such, the review is necessarily limited.

Went very well.  We were able to combine our job with the next door neighbor's.  They cleaned up any mess they made, and were timely.  They also didn't have any problem with us requesting a last minute change on the gates.

We are very impressed with the service, quality and timeliness from Burge. Chris Burge estimated the job and detailed all costs and timing. After getting estimates from three companies, Burge's cost and timing were the best. From the time we approved the job through completion, Burge met all timing estimates. The workers were friendly, efficient and made sure we were happy with the quality before they left.The fence looks great and we couldn't be happier! We will definitely recommend Burge to others.

The first call and install went great. We closed on the house in Jan. then I went to AZ to return Feb. 14th. I then noticed that on one of my gates a corner was dented in. I called the office and was told someone would be by in 2 weeks. In April I emailed the owner, I never heard back. In May I called the office once again, she informed me then that the owner will return my call that very day. We are now at the end of August and no word. It's not just a dent it is smashed in at the top and my worry is that someone will catch their hand on the jagged piece.

They did a great job. I would highly recommend them. The cleanup was great. I did have an issue with the quoting but he took care of that. He had made a mistake on his quote. It was a quality product and they did everything in the correct time They did a nice job on the cleanup. It was very professional.

Contacted the company in early September. Chris came out, took measurements, and provided me with an estimate of work to be completed.  When I inquired about timeline, he told me that because mine was such a small job, that they would fit it in between other jobs and would be completed within less than 3 weeks.  The job included setting posts, installing cedar fencing for about 23 ft. and staining.
The first part of October, I called and asked when someone would be out to begin my project and I was told that they would be out within the week.  Didn't happen.  Called the week after that and finally they came out and set the posts in concrete and was told that it would take several days for the concrete to cure. At the end of October I had to call again to see when they would be coming out to install the fencing and it took another week and a half before the fencing was installed.  
On the afternoon of April 22, I called and said that I was very unhappy with the responsiveness of Burge Fence and would be submitting a complaint through the Better Business Bureau because my fence went all winter without being stained.  Surprisingly, within a couple of hours by fence was stained.  Chris called to say that it "was funny" that I was on the list of projects to be completed that day.  Interesting how that works.
The office staff is pleasant and their billing department is quite prompt.  No attempt to offer any discount because of the delay in getting this "little" project completed.  I would recommend this company only if you enjoy continually calling to see when your project is on their to-do list.
