Terrible: (1) The repair took in excess of four months, twice as long as quoted, (2) They lost the 152 year old key that went with the clock then lied about it by saying there wasn't a key when I brought it in, which is absolutely untrue. (3) Incompetently pasted the wrong face I had requested over the original, (4) Damaged the original face, and (5) Were aggressively rude and confrontational. Never in my 67 years have I encountered a more obnoxious sales clerk than Mr. Thompson. I will forever regret trusting my heirloom clock (6 generations in the family) with this incompetent firm. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

Technician was very efficient. He adjusted hammer on the chime before I even mentioned that perhaps he could look at that too while he looked at the initial problem of the clock stopping all the time.

Clocks repaired. Brought them home looking like new and enjoying hearing their chimes again.

I always use Thompson's when I have a problem with the Grandfather clock.

I was really impressed,I had a clock which was working but it was not keeping time so i needed to be adjusted and it works just fine. Well the clock is 100 years old but it works like new.

He did a fine job. He repaired my clock a year ago and it’s still going. Their old hand did this and sometimes people that have a lot of experience along a certain line have a different attitude, which is not unpleasant. It’s just this is the way it is and do you want it or not, which is okay. He was right up front, it will take this much time and will be that much money, do you want me to do it? I’m okay with that.

Thompson's Manor Clock took our antique clock for repair. They said it would be 6-10 weeks for repair. I received a call saying the clock was ready for pickup 7 weeks later. They cleaned the clock inside and out. Found multiple problems and fixed it. This clock had not been running for many, many years. Thompson's made the clock look like a well taken care of antique clock. I brought it home, did exactly what they said to do to start it. It has been in perfect time since.This is the third time I have used this company and I recommend them to all who read this review. My grandfather clock and this little mantle clock are working perfectly. I trust their work and their prices are reasonable.

When we first contacted them, there was a wait of several months. We got back in touch a few months later and there was a three week wait. We scheduled them, but had to cancel that time. They contacted us again and came out and did the work. They got the clock running in an hour or so and wrote out instructions and explained what we needed to do in the future to keep it running. They even drew a diagram of how we could adjust the time if it got off.

Thompsons Clock Manor arrived earlier than anticipated because they are booked 2 1/2 weeks out. They had a cancellation and asked if they could come and work on my grandfather clock. He oiled the clock, corrected many things the "professional assembly company" did or did not do to the clock. He had time to answer questions and even took another antique clock back with him for repair. I was very impressed with the service and I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately, one was an old bookshelf grandfather style clock. To repair it, the mechanism for swinging the pendulum had to be replaced. The clock works now, but the pendulum does not. They did good work and were on time.

Service was performed very quickly. He gave us options and their costs. I would highly recommend and would definitely use them again in the future.

I appreciated the gentleman at the desk's honesty. He gave an estimate of $250 and told me, when asked, that it was a lot to spend on the specific clock. He said that of course he would do it, especially if the clock had sentimental value but that the clock itself wasn't particularly valuable and that he wouldn't pay that much to fix it. It was great to get an honest assessment rather than have him just try to take my money. I elected not to fix the clock but would definitely go back for future clock repair needs.

Their service was satisfactory. They were very business-like. The repairs have been effective.

It was a small repair but I thought the price was right. They fixed it in a timely manner.

They came out and oiled the works in the clock and it now works great. It did take two weeks from my first call to get them out but the service call did the trick so Im happy.

The service from Thompson's Clock Manor was great. I called, explained our problem, and was scheduled for the next week. They called to remind me of the appointment. They showed up on time! The work was done very fast, with lessons on how to maintain our Grandfather clock. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again myself.

They were very timely and the price that they quoted us on the phone was exactly what we were changed. They explained everything very well on the phone and told us exactly when they would be there. They were very courteous and very professional.

Fantastic! Went in with my 2 year old toddler and the work was performed while we waited about 10 minutes! If I ever have a clock/watch repair, I will most definitely use Thompson's again!
