Terry is an amazing Real Estate
agent. We were first-time home buyers
with lots of questions. We were working
with another agent, but after our first agent stopped responding to our calls
(we were losing out on houses because of it!) Terry stepped in and showed us a

range wasn’t high enough, or if he simply did not have enough time, but our
first agent stopped answering our calls and emails! We actually lost out on
seeing a couple of houses because of this.
Terry was recommended to us by a friend and he was amazing! We called
him Saturday morning and he showed us houses that afternoon.
As first-time home buyers we were
not sure how to navigate the crazy Overland Park market. Houses frequently
getting multiple offers and being sold on the first day. We needed an agent who was going to be
responsive and available for same-day showings.
My fiancand eacute; and I both work 40 plus
hours a week and were often not available to see houses until the evenings. Terry would often see any new listings we
were interested in during the day, to save us the time of seeing a house he
knew we wouldn’t like. It was great! Being new to the home-owning game, we had
lots of questions and needed to see a lot of houses to whittle down what we
liked.
When we finally found a house
that we both loved, Terry took charge.
He was in instant and constant contact with the seller’s agent. He kept us informed and up-to-speed on next
steps. We never felt like we were alone
in the process.
During the inspection, the
inspector ran the jets in the tub and discovered sludge in the pipes. This sludge was left in the tub and smelled
AWFUL. When the home owners (who did not
currently live in the house) refused to have the tub cleaned, Terry drove to
the house and cleaned it himself. He
spent 3 hours scrubbing, running vinegar and getting the tub in good shape. He
went above and beyond when he didn’t have to.
Even after we signed final
contracts, he made sure we were on top of all of the little things that needed
to be done. He gave us a list of the
utility companies and their contact info, helped us find an insurance agent and
made sure all of our questions were answered regarding the closing
process. Overall, he made what could
have been a stressful and difficult time easy, and gave us the confidence to
move forward with our purchase.

I met Terry in 2011 when we both showed up to a house that had just hit the market. We hadn't even put our house on the market yet, but Terry was more than willing to tour the house with us. I remember both of us looking for cracks in the basement foundation by the light of cellphones and flashlights. I commented to my husband that we should keep this guy's information because he 1) seemed to know what he was doing/looking for and 2) didn't t try to rush us out the door once he found out we hadn't listed yet.
Fast forward three years (and a baby) later, and I've lost count of the number of houses Terry and I toured. I always felt guilty for and quot;wasting his timeand quot; since we weren't truly ready to buy, but he never let on that it bothered him. In fact, he said he enjoyed getting out and seeing what was out there. We finally put our house on the market in April 2014 and, of course, used Terry as our listing agent.
Besides being extremely patient with folks in every step of the home selling/buying process, he's incredibly knowledgeable and just a real nice guy. No slimy, fake, sales-y vibe here - he's a real person, and treats you like a real person, too. He was extremely patient with us while we fixed up our house to sell, and made excellent recommendations all along the way in both selling and buying our new home. He is personable, professional, and honest. I'm so glad we ran into each other all those years ago! I would absolutely recommend Terry to anyone who is buying or selling a home. You will not be disappointed.
