Simply Clean Home and Business LLC

I bought the Groupon coupon in April.  I phoned and left four phone messages days and weeks apart, and also filled out the "Contact Us" section of their web site as their voice mail instructed but received no response.  I reported this to Groupon in September and received a message that other customers had experienced the same.  I called the number on the Groupon for Simply Clean one last time, and Erica Schnieder answered.  I told her I would like to set up a cleaning and asked her to tell me which day would work best.  She said they would be out to my home three weekdays later at noon.  At 1:30 p.m. on the scheduled day there was no sign of the housecleaners, and no notification that they were cancelling.  Groupon fortunately is refunding the money, so I will continue to use Groupon despite this lemon of a "deal".

My Mom purchased a Groupon for me as a birthday gift for this housecleaning service at a price of $50 for 3 hours of cleaning. She also purchased one for herself. I called the business telephone number about a week after the Groupon was purchased and left a message. About a week later, my call had not been returned so I called again. The owner, Erica, answered and said they might be able to come out just a couple of days later, on Tuesday (despite my telling her I understood if they were very busy because of the Groupon), so I was pretty excited. She said she would call back to confirm after hearing back from a client she was scheduling around for that day. A couple weeks later, never having heard back from Erica, I called once again and heard a voice mail that directed all Groupon customers to use the “Contact Us” form on the website to schedule. I did so and still did not hear back. Another week went by and I submitted yet another message on the website, still receiving no response. My Mom has also left voice mails and used the website form with no response. I’m hoping Groupon will be able to refund my Mom's money. I don’t understand why Simply Clean isn't doing anything to address the issue if they're overwhelmed.  Ignoring people won't make it go away. Pretty disappointing….

I recently purchased a #Groupon for home cleaning. It was for three (3) hours with a company called Simply Clean (Linda and Erica Snyder) and after the initial phone call I was giddy with anticipation. This after all was a gift for my wife.  They were to be here at the house by 12:30 pm CST give or take 15 minutes on either side. I was to expect a phone call prior to the arrival as well when they were on the way.  I should have seen it as a bad sign when at 12:38 pm CST there was no call. I then proceeded to call the owners via the cell number posted and promptly left a voice mail. It was about 10 minutes later when I received a call back. Finally they came out (one person and the owner... ) and begun cleaning after starting and stopping two more times and after about four hours they had finished (allegedly) two bedrooms and two bathrooms and they were going to have to come back and finish the next day. I went and looked shortly after they left and both my wife and I were livid. The rooms they had "finished" had piles of dust and hair or something on the floor in multiple spots, the sinks had dirty water and cleaning supplies in them and the drains were closed and the counters in the bathroom still had degrease solvent on them.   My eyes are still stinging from the chemicals. I can tell you without a doubt DO NOT USE this company, even Groupon is "investigating" them because of other complaints.
