Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

The staff was friendly and helpful with my situation. All of them listened to my goals for colors and coverage on my old house exterior painting project.
I was very happy with the colors after buying 4 quarts and selecting a siding color and a trim color.
I am anxious to see the Duration coverage now!

We had some of the paint left when it was painted last. About two weeks ago I took the paint over the store and told them what we were doing. At that time the person there had said to bring it in a couple days before we need to paint. They said they would need a couple days to match up the paint. On Monday, the project supervisor came out and said that they were going to be able to start painting later in the week. He actually gave me a board of the siding material we are using to bring over to the store with the original paint. I saw two workers in the store and I told them what we were doing and wanted to match the color on the siding board. A gentleman helped me and started doing the color matches for us. All of a sudden the woman working there shouted across the store to ask why we brought in the board. She stated that it doesn't matter we are only matching the color and I let her know my contractor said to bring it out. The man came out to show me the match and it was a beautiful match. He told me that I needed to buy a quart first and I told him we needed to use the duration exterior paint. He told me that my information is in the system and showed me the information on the side of the quart. He let me know also that it needed to be mixed with a highly reflective base and showed me what it was. I wanted to know the timeline on the paint and he said it would be fine. Yesterday our painters showed up to do the caulking and to take a look at the paint. Our painting supervisor said it was interior paint so she took my board and paint to the store. She came back with exterior paint and said that they don't have a highly reflective base for exterior paint. Our painters were supposed to come back today and by noon the supervisor came over. She said that they are not ready with the paint. Now, everything is on hold due to them not having enough paint ready. They don't know what they are doing and when I was there the woman working was just rude. I just think they clearly know what they are doing. If you need Shermin Williams paint go to another location.
