Rick Bowers

Rick and his wife Susan were great. We first began looking for a home with them before we moved to Kansas City. They took us to drive around the areas where we thought we might be interested, telling us about the different municipalities, different neighborhoods, school districts etc. They helped us arrange a lovely rental home when we first arrived in town so that we weren't under pressure to buy from afar.
Rick and Susan provided us access to a website that provides custom searches of the MLS real estate database. We could ask questions or make comments in the website and they always responded promptly by email.
We looked at LOTS of houses with RIck. He was patient and always willing to show us homes and point out potential pros and cons specific to each home. He was always able and willing to quickly get information we wanted (often before we even asked for it) including comparable recently sold listings and disclosures. When a potential downside of a home would arise, Rick always had a suggestion for how it could be resolved or how to understand it more fully so we would go into any home with our eyes open.
When we finally made an offer and it was accepted, Rick was very helpful throughout the closing and inspection process. We had lots of questions and he always answered them promptly. A few issues arose after the inspection and he did whatever it took to resolve them. For example, our inspector questioned the quality of the engineer brought in by the sellers to deal with a foundation issue. Rick surveyed his colleagues and forwarded on about 10+ positive reviews on the engineer, setting our mind at ease. Rick always remained calm and helped us find solutions to each issue.
We are now in our new house and very satisfied. I have heard many people complain about how little work their realtors did in helping them buy or sell their home and Rick is the opposite. He worked hard and I would heartily recommend him and his team.
