MO'S HEATING-AIR CONDITIONING

The installers were punctual and consistently worked hard.   They seemed both experienced, knowledgeable, and professional.   There did not seem to be any significant issues in getting the heat pump or related electric furnace installed and the installers did a great job reducting the heat and cooling to a room previously added to the house.   After the installation was complete and when the AC began to run, however, I found that the condensation created (and to be drained via a catch pan beneath the blower unit in an attic space) was leaking and dripping through the floor of the attic and then down through the ceiling of the garage below the unit.   I called Mo's several times & did get appointments scheduled to have a worker out to look the situation over and hopefully correct it.   After the first appointment, it became clear that the problem was not resolved as the catch pan continued to build up a pool of water and not drain correctly (I repeatedly had to use a shop vac to empty the pan so that it wouldn't overflow again).   A second appointment was more successful in that this worker got the drain problem corrected.   I asked the worker what would then be done with the visible water damage to the ceiling of the garage as well as the anticipated damage to the insulation in the floor beneath the catch pan.   He took pictures of the ceiling damage and said some one from the office would be calling me to schedule a time to look the damage over in more detail.   I waited several weeks with no call.   I then called Mo's & was told someone would call me back.   No one did.   I called again with the same result.   I didn't bother following up any further.   I will tear the damaged ceiling area out, inspect the insulation in the floor above, replace what is necessary, and repair the ceiling myself.    So, a mixed report on Mo's but I will not recommend them to anyone and I will not call them to do any more heating/air conditioning work we may have.

.   They ended up having to come back.  They did not realize that I had three zones and they charged me more for some filters.  I thought that they were fair.  They came on time. I had more years though I told them upfront. I thought they acted reasonably.  I would advice all to discuss what needs to be done before they come and when they come make sure they do their work. They seem nice and they will do what they promise.  They had the Big Deal which I used so with the Deal their price is above average.  I will use this provider in the future.
