 + -1 moreWe wanted to do the patio and other projects like remodeling the kitchen as well with him. We were to start with a patio and sign a contract. He came back and said that it would cost more than what he quoted us before because he left a few things out. I felt that he wasn?t very professional. The drawings that he gave us were just not so good. We waited a week and a half for these drawings that he was going to give us. They were just scratched on a piece of paper that would have taken less than five minutes to do. He was not punctual at all. He would call five minutes before the appointment and reschedule it. He did this several times.
Description of Work: Millennium Remodeling & Outdoor Living gave me a quote for a patio about a month ago.

 + 1 moreMet with Mike Stephens multiple times and had numerous conversations over 2 weeks. I had narrowed the contractor field down and wanted to meet with him one more time to review the bid and see the drawings that we had asked for repeatedly. In our conversation, he knew I needed to begin the project next week. We schedule a meeting on Tuesday evening, but he called and canceled due to another project he was knee deep in mud. Ok, no problem, let's reschedule for Thursday. Thursday, same thing. So he suggests Saturday at 10am as he has nothing on Saturday. He calls Saturday at 10am and says that he is tied up on a project but will be by in the next hour. A little frustrated, I say ok, see you at 11am. Noon I call him and he says, I am at Home Depot picking up supplies, glad you called as I forgot about you. Says I don't know when I can come by, but I will be there sometime today to finalize everything and share the drawings. Not surprisingly, he doesn't call or show at all. On Sunday late evening, he sends an email and says here are the contracts to sign and I will call you tomorrow. At this point I had already begun taking steps to find another contractor to backfill his position but looked at his attachment and saw his contract bid went up by an additional $1000. Not sure if he really expected me to sign this, but I never did hear back from him again. Total FLAKE....Be warned.
Description of Work: Mike Stephens, the co-owner of MILLENNIUM By Design, aka MILLENNIUM/DESIGNSCAPE along with his sister, Michelle Stephens bid out a screened in porch, pouring concrete and laying paver stones, along with putting in drain tile.

 + -1 moreMIKE HAD TO COME IN TO REPAIR VERY BAD LEAK DAMAGE IN THE CEILING & PAINT THE TRIM IN A NEW SUNROOM. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL JOB, WELL DONE.
