Horrible company, deceptive billing practices, poor service. Avoid!

This did not go well. What a misleading ripoff their service is. The problem I have is with the quote of the service. The quote was $61.86 to mow, trim and blow off surfaces. If the grass is over 8" there is "an additional fee". This is where I have a problem. The additional fee is double. When do you find out it's double? After they perform the work and they give you an invoice. Nowhere is that explained on the quote. There is also a $25 fee for a one time service. Doubling the fee is overly excessive. I don't care that they charge an extra fee but when they provide the quote it should be clearly stated that fee will be double. Had we known the fee was double we would never have agreed to perform the service. So a $61.86 quote turned into a $148.72 charge to cut and trim a small lot with a large home on it. This is a deceptive, misleading business practice. I would never recommend or use this business in the future!

Terrible. Drainage was not considered before installing plants. Top soil should have been added for drainage. The plants were almost all dead within 45 days. We declined plant insurance which was quite expensive - $800. They had chosen all of the plants and four of them needed shade where the area is mostly sunny. The "special" trees had brown patches when planted and one was very scrawny. When the manager finally came to see the result he was very sympathetic and sent us a new invoice for $1800 to fix the problem. We expected a professional job and now we have a mess to clean up. The river rock looks good and three shrubs around a tree are fine.

Worst company ever. They quoted me $385 for Vericutting and thatch raking a small yard because it was "labor and time consuming." The worker was in and out in 45 mins and it took me 5 hours to complete the job my self after he left with out even checking in with me. I was scammed. Don't be fooled. Hire someone else!

LDK did a fantastic job and the work ethic of the group was amazing. I received 6 quotes from companies and chose LDK as they were reasonably priced and very professional. They hand dug up around 80 feet to install a French drain system and provided all the supplies and replaced with sod. They also added down spout drains that feed into the drainage system. As well, they did some grading to keep the slope away from our home. We've had another big rain since and no water in the basement and the drainage system is working as it should. I asked the owner Luke, who was hands on, to also have someone clean our gutters which was done well too. Would highly recommend, very satisfied.

We have a basic problem with our neighbors lawn. They planted a garden between our properties that leave about a 2 ft swatch on their side. This is right next to land that we had to install a french drain due to excessive runoff from their yard. We spoke to the owner of LDK and asked that they not run their large, heavy equipment in our yard just to cut this 2 ft area. They were using a weed eater to cut the area but recently a new employee drove the heavy equipment up the side in order to cut the area. There had been a heavy rain just before this and hid wheels damaged our lawn plus his mover was set lower than we cut our lawn. I spoke to the driver but got no response so called the owner. Luke, the owner, simply and rudely blew me off. We do not want them on our property due to their lack of interest in cooperating with us. Their motive seems to be to cut the grass in the fastest way possible rather than cut it with quality. I would never use this company and am considering leaga action for the damage caused. I had talked to Luke at least 4-5 times over the past several months!

We can always rely on LDK to do a great job on our lawn.  They are always prompt and professional.

LDK Lawn Services were some of the finest people I have worked with in landscaping services. Luke Koenig and his staff are highly professional and performed excellent work. I particularly like their creative design work and willingness to make changes when necessary. The area landscaped was quite difficult to maneuver but LDK staff worked very hard and their equipment was well maintained and capable of performing the work in a timely manner. The LDK staff were very courteous and have pride in their work. I highly recommend LDK Lawn Services for their landscaping work.
