Jessup Homes

I worked on a project during which my interior designers bought a piece of furniture from Erin Jessup. Ultimately, the project stalled because of problems with a contractor. The piece of furniture that Ms. Jessup refinished ended up being damaged. Three years later, while still cleaning up the mess, I posted an ad on a social media site to sell it. Ms. Jessup saw the ad and messaged me from her business page. She was confrontational from the start, grilling me on who I was and how this piece came to be damaged. I explained that I was the owner and that I had had this devastating loss. She continued to send these messages, complaining about how much work she did on that piece. I understand that, though I also paid a lot of money for the piece, and I wasn't the one who damaged it. I'm just the person who's been trying to clean up the mess for 3+ years. She just got more and more hostile. I saw that her website notes her empathy, though I didn't see any evidence that she has any. This was incredibly unprofessional and unkind. I would not work with this woman.
