J&D was highly recommended by a friend. I'm glad they come north of the river as well. They replaced springs on one of our garage doors in less than 15 minutes. Dan is a genuine guy that gets the job done right, and at a very reasonable cost (no BS). Will definitely hire again for when we're ready to service our other garage door.

They did an excellent job. I have recommended them to my friends for when they need help with their garage door workings. Very pleasant people to work with., and they were very understanding when my computer got hacked and delayed the payment I had given them. You won't be disappointed if you use them.

Excellent. My garage door failed on a Sunday afternoon and they were there at 0730 the next morning. They completed the work in less than an hour. They did another door for me last year. The prices have been extremely reasonable.

If I could give 100 stars I would. My garage door spring broke yesterday (Friday) at 3 PM. I called the company that regularly services my door (a big name company I won't mention) and was told the earliest they could get around to me was the following Tuesday. I told them my car and Harley were trapped in the garage and the door was too heavy for me to lift on my own. They said sorry but if I wanted they could come out after 6 if I was willing to pay a much increased rate. I then called J & D garage Door Service. Dave picked up right away. He said he was not very far away on a job and could be there within an hour. He showed up when promised, had the parts necessary to do the job on his truck, and took care of our door in about 45 minutes. He also said the springs that were installed on our door were the wrong size for that weight door and put on stronger springs (same price). Why didn't my old company who did the service ever mention that? J&D is now my new garage door company for all future service and maintenance. There was not late night up charge or overtime. Like I said, 100 stars.

They are very professional and does excellent work within a quick amount of time. They showed up to the appointment on time. The cost was extremely reasonable for the work performed compared to other estimates.

When I called on Friday afternoon and told Dan our garage door would not open and both our cars were inside the garage, he said he would be there as soon as he could. He called to keep us updated on when he thought he would arrive. He had everything needed to repair the mechanisms right in his truck and worked diligently to fix the door. The cost was very reasonable for the parts and labor, especially considering it was an emergency call. We truly appreciated his promptness and extreme courteousness. He even replaced a lightbulb in the garage for us while he was there. I would highly recommend his service .

It went very well, and the new insulated doors have greatly improved the value of our home, we think.

Dan can sell the products as well as servicing them.

Dan Nissen came promptly to evaluate the project, helped me understand what process he would take to retrofit two new garage doors onto a dated 1929 detached double garage. It required removal of two hinged trolley-style VERY HEAVY doors. I was concerned that the doors would have to be ripped off, as they were and quot;painted overand quot; many times. However, Dan removed them and left very little cosmetic, fill-in, caulking work to be done. Thank you, Dan.

The installation required bracing existing overhead beams, then, installing railings, garage opener, etc. Again, ... WONDERFUL!Dan cleaned up all work areas spotlessly. Again, AMAZING.

Further, he took the time to explain the openers, program the key pad, walk me through the special sensors, and wall units.

You should use this guy for all of your garage door needs! He's been doing this a long time and knows his products and processes well. I highly recommend him for his honesty, professionalism, quality workmanship, and affordability.
