$2,300
We were charged $400 for the inspection of our fireplace and to provide recommendations on what it would take to fix it. The quote was for $2,300 to replace the thermocouple, thermophile, and the gas valve. The service technician said he would only make about $350 on the repair. I investigated the parts and found two different companies online offering those parts and more for $450 or $330. That puts the cost of labor at $1850. When I mentioned this to the service tech and sent him the website he said that he would not do the job unless he brought the parts and knew they were the right ones. I asked him for a detailed quote on the job for parts and labor and he would not provide one. I told him I would buy the parts and he could do the job for $350 and he would not do that either. I then took apart the fireplace and used sand paper to remove the corrosion from the thermocouple and thermophile and the fireplace works now. The company did refund my initial $400 inspection fee after voicing my displeasure with their customer service approach. Check the cost of your parts if you use this company!

Very well. My chimney brick was made of old street pavers that were deteriorating and crumbling after 25 years. I had treated and sealed the chimney several times, even plastering over it once, but eventually after 12 years of trying alternatives, I realized that the bad brick needed replacement. I also have a steel roof which can be dented if workers aren't careful, so I wanted a Chimney Contractor that would work with my Roof Installer collaboratively to ensure the chimney got replaced without leaving me a damaged roof. After contacting several chimney contractors, only Full Service Chimney and 2 others convinced me they could do the job, so I asked them for quotes. Full Service Chimney charged $175 for a full pre-inspection and quote for a chimney replacement, but would apply the $175 to my order cost if they got the contract. During the Pre-Inspection by the Owner's son, he even managed to fix an electric gas fireplace that hadn't worked in 5 years at no extra charge! After getting the 3 quotes, Full Service chimney was from 10 to 15% higher than the others, but they were the only ones that fully convinced me they wanted to do the job right. The Full Service team (including the owner) met my Roofer on site to work out a plan to protect the roof ahead of time and they followed the plan very well, resulting in a very good job, with no roof problems afterword. Even a minor disagreement at the end as to whether my chimney caps were 'good enough' or 'needed replacement' was solved by the Owner meeting with me personally to explain their decision and offer to do whatever was necessary to satisfy me. I decided to keep the upgraded stainless steel caps they provided, and they gave me a discount equaling 150% of the current retail value of the painted steel caps they removed. Full Service Chimney was not the cheapest quote, but for something as important as replacing a chimney, they were certainly the best. I recommend them very strongly. I also credit my Roofing Contractor, Carlos Luna, of Midwest Lifetime Roof Systems for the successful project. Carlos installed my steel roof over 10 years ago, but made several trips to my house during this chimney replacement last month to make sure my roof ("his roof") was protected. If you need a steel roof, Carlos and Lifetime are awesome!

Full Service Chimney had performed an inspection of our fireplace and chimney prior to our purchasing the house.  I was so impressed with their thoroughness and professionalism, I contracted with them to install a new liner.  They checked the gas line as we switched from wood-burning to gas, and installed new fireplace logs.

I have confidence in the work this company does, and was delighted when they demonstrated how beautiful my new fireplace was when lighted.

I'll be contacting them again in the spring for some additional outside touch-ups to the chimney, but for now, I'm going to enjoy their work when the days/nights are chilly!

I highly recommend this company.  The team members (Zach, Ritchie, Sam and Jeremiah) were always professional, courteous, and friendly. They arrived when they said they would, worked consistently and cleanly, and when an unexpected repair became evident, explained the need for the repair in understandable and honest terms. The owner, Bob, came out a couple of days to check on the work, and I was impressed with his knowledge, commitment to his team, and his level of customer service.  Overall, this is the type of company I hope to work with when I need home repairs; they do quality work; they are reliable; they have great attitudes; they work consistently and cleanly, and in general, they are just very nice guys! My husband and I are very happy with the quality of the work and the commitment to customer service displayed. I would definitely use this company's services again.

These guys had to replace everything!  Our chimney and everything attached to it was degrading making our house a fire hazard. They spent two days (only two days!) working quietly and unobtrusively.  They even brought out someone to replace 3 feet of brick on the outside of the chimney and matched the existing brickwork!
I was thoroughly impressed by their work but equally so by the level of professional courtesy and demeanor.  Every gentleman I met that worked inside or outside of our home was polite.  And...ZERO mess to clean up.  In fact, the areas they worked may have been cleaner after they left than when they began (and I keep a clean house!).
I recommend them highly.
Thanks guys!

Mr. Berry was called to inspect and clean our chimney. He and his assistant were quiet, quick and clean. While on the roof, he took photos of our current chimney cap to show us the rust that had begun to deteriorate the metal. He explained the options, and took us through his proposal to fix the problem. We opted for a stainless-steel cap, and it was installed on the date promised, quickly and efficiently, and with a perfect fit. Works great!!
