Structural Engineering
Eric was our engineer and he was fantastic. We got an appointment within 2 days of calling and he arrived on time. He methodically evaluated the entire building structure, took measurements and pictures, explained the forces at work causing the settlement and heaving, answered all questions, and explained some basic diagnostic techniques we can use on our own in the future. He explained what measures would be needed to correct the problems and estimated the level of difficulty and cost so we could make a decision on whether to proceed with the investment. We decided that the multitude of problems made it a poor investment risk, so a small fee for Eric's services saved us from making a potentially costly error. Money well spent.
