I dealt with Dan Dolan via email and phone. He was extremely knowledgeable and responsive. I have a number of insurable items and he was able to roll them into one package while giving me better coverage at lower cost. I was hesitant to use someone who was not from my geographical area but his service level made my concerns unwarranted.

We needed an insurance quote for a new home we were in escrow on. The house is in a high fire risk zone and when we were trying to find insurance on our own companies either wouldn't cover us or the rates were very high so we decided to work with a broker. Within 48 hours, our agent, Dan Dolan, had returned an option for us that was much lower than what we found on our own and comparable to what friends in our area who were not in the fire zone were paying. We had to file a claim for a water leak around a year into our residence and both Flury-Hinderks and the insurance company they found for us were very responsive and helpful through the whole ordeal.

Flury-Hinderks Insurance Agency bid against three other providers. Being an 'old' Purchasing Agent I sent out a competitive bid request to a number of large insurance companies, which I later narrowed down to 3. They were required to bid on our home insurance, auto insurance, a blanket liability policy, and a couple of other insurance requirements we have.. They were extremely responsive and helpful in identifying opportunities for us to improve our coverages while minimizing costs. The two others bidding were not helpful in this way. Bottom line we chose to move all of our insurance to Flury-Hinderks Insurance Agency, where they provided us comprehensive coverage provided by Safeco. We saved money and increased our levels of coverage across the board. After awarding them the bid they provided us with a complete transition plan, step by step to change our insurance. It all went like clockwork. I would recommend them to anyone!

Although I got several referrals from Angies List, Mr. Dolan at Flury Hendirks was only one to follow through. He has been exceptionally responsive, even though I was initially overseas, and got insurance set up for a new car within minutes of the request, while we were at the dealer's. And got us the insurance at a fair price.

We relocated to the KC area from out of state and I was referred to Dan Dolan and Flury-Hinderks from a colleague. After a phone conversation to determine my needs Dan went to work. We own rental properties in multiple states and had our insurance with several different providers and were looking to consolidate our policies under one agency. Within hours Dan had reviewed our current insurance situation and provided quotes for our properties, auto insurance, and an umbrella policy. Dan took the time to explain everything to us and answered all of our questions and we couldn't be more satisfied with the customer service he provided. I should probably also mention he saved us well over a thousand dollars in premiums and found us more comprehensive coverage to boot! I can't recommend Dan and Flury-Hinderks enough.

We moved to Arizona from Indiana a couple months ago and didn't realize that the company that provided our car and homeowner's insurance was not licensed in Arizona, so we were in pretty immediate need of new car insurance. Since we were now renting, we also needed renter's insurance as well. After trying to get some quotes online from some insurance providers, we weren't finding what we were looking for and decided to check AngiesList to see if there were any well-reviewed options there. We found Dan Dolan and Flury-Hinderks Insurance Agency as highly recommended on AngiesList and contacted them for assistance. They are located in Kansas, but we decided that it was not a problem since our last insurance was located in Pennsylvania, and location had really not been a factor. Dan got back to us the same day and we talked on the phone. We explained our situation, and he started looking for options for us that day. He checked our insurance profile and found the best options for us that would be the best rates and would allow us to continue to have the coverage levels and accident forgiveness that we had had for several years with our previous insurance. Dan took the time to explain everything to us, was very thorough, and answered all of our questions. He explained the best strategies around the options that we had. He addressed some particular issues that were showing on our driving record and how best to handle those. Once we decided which company and policy to go with, he gave us very clear instruction on what to do in switching over to the new policy. He also followed up and went above and beyond to address a letter that he had received from the insurance company about our cars not yet being registered in our state of residence and that being a roadblock to establishing the policy. He forwarded the letter to us (which the company never actually sent to us directly) and we were able to make sure we got our cars registered as soon as possible and in time for the policy start date. Over, Dan did a fantastic job and was very patient and gracious with his time in making sure that we understood everything, that all of our concerns were addressed, and that all of the details had been taken care of. Compared to the interactions we had had with our previous insurance company, Dan was a breath of fresh air. I would definitely recommend him and his agency and use them again in the future.
