I would recommend Father and Sons Home Painting Service without hesitation. Their crew did an outstanding job of painting the exterior of my home. Keland was easy to talk to and presented me with a prompt estimate, which detailed the scope of the work. He provided helpful suggestions during that bid process that actually helped me save money. During the 3 ½ days the crew was onsite they were very professional and polite, working together to do necessary painting and cleaning up well beyond my expectations. I appreciated the daily check-in’s from them as well. I was very happy that I chose to go with Father and Sons, I am sure you will be too!

The work was on schedule and under budget. The crew was professional and courteous. They were willing to answer questions when I thought of them. I would hire this company again.

They were hard to reach once the job was just about done. The quality of the work was good.

I first have to clarify, I am an extreme perfectionist when it comes to having work done on my house. They did a fine job. However, there are a few details, I see now that I would have liked done better. But overall, they did good. I have a couple other rooms I need painted and ceilings scraped and I'm sure I will use them again.

The process that we went through was strange. They sent out a handyman to help us. This man didn't know how to apply paint on the metal door. They had to paint the door using another guy and he painted 3-4 times before it was satisfactory. It was just a more drawn-out process than it should have been. Just an odd experience overall.

The job did not go too well. I had them give me a quote on three other jobs but I did not have them complete those jobs. The liability was not good, I never knew when they were going to come. The repair they did is not appealing. They were suppose to clean my gutters but they did not because they kept coming up with excuses for them not to do it. Also there is a repair on my deck that they have not repaired. They probably will not come back out to complete the work.

We used this company 9 years ago and they did an excellent job.   This time, we had several problems, and one was that part of the time workers were here, not one of them spoke English.  They could not understand the simplest request, for example:  " Please, please do not throw your ladders down on the grass." ( that barely grows after loads of expensive lawn treatments)      Or:  " Could you please stop painting while it is raining,  and wait until it is a little drier?"  
  The test of a good house painter is the prep work before the paint: scraping, caulking, sealing and cleaning and I was not confident that an excellent job was done this time.   The painters got behind when they started work on the WRONG house,  then rushed through the prep work, caulking over dirty and peeling paint.   My husband spent a day re-doing  shoddy prep work.  
  Of all the estimates I got,  this company's was the second highest.  I would have paid it gladly if I felt we got the excellent job again like before, but this time I was not so impressed. 
  Another problem is that the non-English speaking workers spent half a day of fine weather scraping paint off of my neighbor's house,  (their English was so poor,  that they could not find MY address)   and then they made up lost time  by painting my house while it was drizzling rain.   Can you get a quality paint job while it is so wet?  Never mind that now my neighbors blame us for the painter's mistake. 
  I have to say I will not use this company again,  and if I ever paint this house again I will make sure the contract states that at least one person who speaks English will be on the crew at all times,  and that they will not paint in the rain.   I do not know if all painters kill so much grass and foundation plants,  but it looked like no care at all was taken to prevent damage to the garden.       
          Do not believe the company when they say there will always be one English speaker on site.  I can assure you that the Saturday they painted in the drizzling rain, not one of the three young men understood me when I spoke to them in English.  
    I would not mind   IN THE LEAST  if the crew were immigrants, or spoke Uzbecki,  as long as I could communicate with them and they did a quality job.   In this case I was not favorably impressed,  with the QUALITY of work.   I have had excellent work done by Spanish speakers,   but not this time.    

I was pretty happy with it. They were prompt and friendly. They did a good job. They did what I asked them to do.

They quoted a price that was in the middle of the estimates (not highest or lowest) and they go to work right away. The workers showed up on time and worked continually throughout the day. Right after the job was done, the paint job looked great, but within a year, problems were already showing up. Paint started peeling off the porch railings and other trim and a trim board that they said they replaced (and I paid to replace) was cracking and peeling and then started growing a fungus (it's in a damp location-so it's the old board that they just painted over). The body paint still seems to be okay but the trim paint is coming off in several locations and I've found more trim boards they said they replaced but were just caulked or puttied over and repainted. I paid extra to have these trim boards replaced with weather-resistant material because I knew they were in damp locations, but, instead, they just patched them over and painted them. Now I'm going to have to hire another company to fix their paint job, after only two years. And the paint was supposed to be a "lifetime" paint.

They did not do a good job at all. The pain started to peel off after four months. I called them back many times and they told me that it happened due to shingles. They were very inexpensive. They were the cheapest I had in my list. The owner of the company gave me the estimate and gave me all fake assurances. He never kept it up. They were always right on time.

The person who came in from Farther & Sons Home Painting Service was Joe. He was one of their workers and he was very friendly, professional and easy to work with. He even helped me pick out the exact color I wanted for the paint. He explained to me which would look dark or which would best suit my house. He was a hard worker and was just excellent. I was very pleased.

I think the total amount included the paint as well. I have extremely high ceilings standing at 20 feet. They had the scaffolding to do the work and did a beautiful job. They prepped the service and did a primer before they painted. They painted the bathrooms with a mould retardant paint. They used only one brand of paint and I had to work from that color palette. I hadn't moved in yet when they did the job. They finished the job within the allotted time. I had a color in mind and I picked if from them as they had a large color palette. They even made sure to put a pad to safeguard the tiles. The price was reasonable. I didn't have the exteriors done so I don't know whether they do the exteriors or not.

I had my house painted last summer. Roger did the estimate and explained the work they would provide. The crew was able to start the job a couple of days later. Overall, I was disappointed with the work provided. The crew that did the work was sloppy and seemed like they wanted to set a speed record. The prep work was haphazard or non-existent. The house was to be pressure washed, it wasn't. The scraping had to be revisited numerous times, even after the house was painted. The caulking was spotty and it too had to be revisited. There was a lot of rain for a couple of days during the job. When it stopped the crew didn't wait for the trim to dry and painted over wet wood, which of course had to be redone. They also painted over wood rot, their own paint scrapings, the windows(which weren't well cleaned)and the chimney stone(which also wasn't well cleaned). The storm windows were supposed to be removed but there were some stripped screws. I was told several times there was an easy solution that would be taken so the storms could be taken down. It wasn't and I came home to find the storm windows painted over. I had a great time trying to put the glass inserts back into the painted tracks in the fall. I could go on but suffice it to say that every day I had a punch list of things that were missed or sloppily done that needed to be corrected. I've already got peeling paint and will have to have the same crew out in the spring to fix their work. Roger did a good job of listening to my concerns and trying to rectify them. He had the crew come back a couple of times to fix the items on my list and he gave me a very small($50)discount because they didn't remove the storm windows as promised. Despite this I can't say I was pleased with the work that was done. The crew was sloppy and I spent a lot of time inspecting and critiquing the work of the crew than I would have expected from a company that promises high quality work.

All work as promised, better results than expected.

We were pleased with the work. I would use them again in the future and have already recommended them to others.

He was both slow, and bad. He drove me absolutely nuts to the point where I actually ended up in the hospital with a panic attack. I do have to give them some credit, after we complained they did send a new worker out who re-did a lot of the painting of the first worker. So they did make it right in the end and I think they were decent people, but I would not recommend them to anyone.

Accurate bid, sound advice, prompt scheduling, quality workmanship, thorough follow up.

The crew showed up every day, and worked long hours. They did a good job scraping, and caulking any areas that needed it. They cleaned up as they went, and really did a good job. The crew was respectful, and the crew chief Ramone answered all questions. One of the storm windows from a second story window was missing the glass, so we took it to a repair shop. We didn't pick it up until a week after the house was painted. Ramone came back and replaced the window once we got it back, as it would have been too difficult for my husband to climb a ladder and replace it. The owner assured us that if we had any more concerns, we could call Ramone, and he would come back. Extra service for the customer after the check has cleared is the sign of a good company, as far as I am concerned. I would definitely use this company again, and recommend them to others.

Work was satisfactory. I had asked that the gutters not be painted but they were. We had a couple of issues with a missing storm window part and a broken storm window, however, both items were taken care of promptly. We were given a choice in our estimates of purchasing our own paint or not. We chose to buy our own but the estimate on how much to purchase was not even close to how much was used. This cost much more than we had budgeted to spend and cost us our time to go get the extra materials while the work was being done.
