Duncan Painting & Restoration

I had the project of interior painting my entire home set in my brain., after having a bout with mold and remediation with a professional company i wanted to get my home painted as soon as i could. Enter Duncan Paint and Restoration. When Tom came to my home for a walk-through the questions started, paint the ceiling, paint kitchen cabinets. Tom made me think that if walls were to be fresh and new, my ceiling and cabinets could be done too. A previous project also left me without a laundry door. My laundry off my kitchen without a door totally dragged down the look i wanted. When i mentioned calling another to put in a door, he said he could actually install it for me. All i needed to do was supply the paint, since part of my home was painted, and a slab door. Also Tom was able to check out a few cracks to make sure they weren't major fixes. Then repaired and painted. You can't even see where they were. All i can say is the work Tom and Daniel supplied was top notch. Laundry door install and paint and kitchen cabinets ( inside and out) painted white is perfect with the silver grey walls. I had him paint my eyesore black bathroom vanity white. It really brightens the room. Tom is professional with what he does and the work shows it. They are always on time. He's the kind of guy you can trust with your house keys. Amazing work. Will definitely let others know how good they are.

A diamond in the rough of painters/handymen. Tom is at least one of, if not the most, solid, true-to-their word people that I have had the privilege to meet. He truly cares about getting the job completed to your satisfaction. I chose Tom to paint the entire interior of the townhouse I recently bought-cabinets, doors, and knock-down vaulted ceilings included. It needed a lot of work. Tom was professional, trustworthy, HONEST, reasonably-priced, and PATIENT. I was wishy-washy on the color of paint I wanted and he was kind enough to be prepared to change the paint color halfway through the job when I thought it wasn't the color I wanted. He did so with a demeanor that was not frustrated or condescending, but helpful and insightful. Thankfully the color I originally chose ended up being perfect, but his willingness to try another color without getting frustrated with me was so kind and calm- great descriptions of his persona. The paint job he did was top notch and positively upgraded the whole look of the house. He is a perfectionist and has made certain that I'm happy with the results all throughout this project. He is also not just a painter. He's done so much more for me during this remodel. I didn't realize he was a REMARKABLE HANDYMAN. He raised my master bathroom vanity by about 6 inches to a more standard/modern height; hooked up new chandeliers/light fixtures/ceiling fans; installed new bathroom and kitchen sink faucets; helped to get rid of a urine smell in the floor; installed shoe around my floor after LVT was laid and that contractor was so unreliable that he couldn't finish the job in a timely manner; worked his schedule around unreliable contractors that required him to come back later to complete the painting touch ups required; dealt with my indecisiveness, plus is willing to return AGAIN after my carpet install to do paint touch ups. So he really is an amazing handyman, even though his specialty is painting. I could go on and on. I'll say it again, Tom is one of the most solid, true-to-word people that I have had the privilege to meet. He truly cares about getting the job completed to your satisfaction.

I would give Tom Duncan 10 stars if I could. Tom did a fantastic job painting the interior of my home. Very reasonable, finished the job on time and even showed up on a Sunday. I will hire Tom to do some other painting for me and definitely recommend him.

Tom does excellent work and has reasonable prices. He is very thorough and very easy to work with. We will absolutely be using him again for any future painting jobs.

Tom and his crew did a great job! Their attention to detail made a huge impact on the overall quality of the work they provided. In addition to making out cabinets look new he painted some rooms, ceiling and stairs. Great work at a reasonable price. I will hire him again for other projedts.

Did a really good job

I was getting ready to put my house up for sale, it was recommended I paint my kitchen. Had one business give me a quote that was way too high, went on Home Advisor and came in contact with Duncan Painting. They started the next day, did an excellent job painting inside and out of cabinets. Put my house up for sale, hasn't sold yet but I'm enjoying my kitchen now. We get great comments on the kitchen ( would've like to post pictures but not able to). Wish I would've done this years ago. They may take a little longer than most companies that's because there's only 2 of them, he doesn't contract out that saves a lot of money! Duncan Painting saved me 1/3rd of the cost than the other company, which incidentally called me a week later offering me a discount to paint the kitchen but Duncan still beat their price!

Quality was great, and they were on time and affordable. I would recommend them to anyone.

Able to do the job the next day, project took a little longer than he expected, but didn't charge me anymore than originally quoted.

Came 2 hours after i called him (must have got lucky he was inbetween jobs) but he repaired a hole in our drywall for a very reasonable price. About half of what i was prepared to pay.

Duncan Painting and Restoration did a great job on our 93 year old home! Tom and his crew were very professional and reliable. As new home owners, he offered suggestions and helped set our kitchen project up for success. They even helped with a last minute bathroom project that we hadn't planned on. When we are ready to paint the exterior of our home, we're definitely calling Duncan Painting and Restoration!

Have a 1940 house that I needed plaster repair in a ceiling. These guys did a great job.

about the worst experiance i have ever had with a contractor... he was nice and all to talk to on the phone... but did not display any construction knowledge (big list of why he was KICKED off the job) terrible job... i felt he damaged the home instead of improve it... dont hire this guy for any decking... drywall... or electrical... it was un believable.

The project was done wery well. The three men worked hard, took care to protect my house. I would use them again and will request the same three men.
