COLLEGE PRO HOME PAINTERS

This was by far the worst experience I could have with a company. Painters left paint chips all over the yard, didn't cleanup after themselves, called multiple times only to have no one call me back, they didnt bring their own ladder they used mine, and they didn't clean the wood surface before painting. I tried to inform the area manager but she assured me he did but I watched him. Had to have the regional manager come over to show what the site looked like how they missed huge spots and just letting him know how dissatisfied I was. Then he made me mark all the spots that need to be fixed, make a list, and od a walk arround with the painter.  It took almost 3 to 4 weeks to complete this job and I felt like i was doing the leg work.

College Pro did a great job. The representative was on time, very professional, and provided us with a very detailed estimate, explaining everything that they would be doing. I was impressed with the young man who did the estimate, and the work was completed very professionally. I really enjoyed having the crew at my home, they were courteous, energetic and fun to work with. My house looks great and I wish working with a contractor was this easy.

I contacted the company in the spring (may) 2006. The rep arrived on time and gave me an estimate which was very reasonable. I gave her a deposit for $60. I never heard another word. After multiple e-mails and phone calls to both local and national office, I finally got a return call the first of September. There was no record of the contract or of my $60 deposit. Luckily I had a copy. I am still waiting for my refund. Very unprofessional, if they won't even return a phone call, no way will they do any work for me.

WE WORKED WITH FRANCHISE THAT WAS MANAGED BY A VERY PROFESSIONAL YOUNG MAN (NO LONGER WITH CP). THERE WERE PROBLEMS WITH THE FIRST CREW (LOUD MUSIC, RAUCOUS BEHAVIOR), BUT THEY WERE FIRED AFTER TWO DAYS (I HAD NOT YET COMPLAINED, SO I DON'T KNOW WHY). THE NEW CREW WAS BETTER, BUT THEY HAD THE CHALLENGE OF FIXING SOME THINGS DONE INCORRECTLY BY THE FIRST CREW (WRONG PRIMER, SLOPPY PREP). THE NEW CREW, WHILE COURTEOUS AND DILIGENT, ALSO HAD PROBLEMS. ONE BOY BROUGHT A SPRAYER FROM HIS DAD'S GARAGE TO HASTEN THE JOB (I HAD SPECIFICALLY BEEN TOLD IT WOULD ALL BE BRUSHED), WHICH GOT PAINT ALL OVER THE WINDOWS. THEY THEN HAD TO SCRAPE AND REPAINT WHERE IT WAS THIN. TWO HAD MINOR ACCIDENTS. THEY DID A SLOPPY JOB OF FINISHING UP AND HAD TO REDO A LOT OF TRIM, ETC. AFTER THEY LEFT ON THE ''LAST DAY,'' I SAW MANY MISSED PLACES (40-50?) AND THEY HAD TO COME BACK. I DID LOTS OF ''SUPERVISING''--CP IS NOT FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO CAN'T BE HOME CONSTANTLY TO WATCH. FINAL QUALITY GETS AN A+; OTHERWISE, A

THE CREW WAS EXCEPTIONAL. THEY CLEANED UP EVERY NIGHT BEFORE WE GOT HOME AND THE OUTSIDE WAS SOOTLESS. WE HARDLY KNEW THEY WERE THERE.

I THOUGHT THEY DID A VERY FINE JOB AND I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN!
