absolutely exceptional job

Brad is meticulous in his painting and I have never had a workman keep such a neat work area. A pleasure to have work in my home. Would definitely recommend him and have done so already.

Brad did an excellent job on on three rooms. He was prompt and efficient, beginning the project when promised and completing on time. And all three rooms look wonderful! The price was very reasonable in comparison with other bids and the amount of work that had to be accomplished. I am planning to have Brad come back and do two more of our rooms.

We contacted Brad Vining as well as 2 other service providers off of AngiesList.  Initial reactions after seeing all 3 contractors, Brad stood out for communication and professionalism.  His estimate was middle of the pack, and was delivered timely and in printed document via email.  One of the other guys wrote it down on the back of his business card in scribbles. 

Brad began work the day he committed to.  He arrived on time every day and left before 5pm each day, with the work space cleaned up.   Due to items beyond Brad's control (other contract work at our house), Brad ended up having to share some space with other contractors and adjust his timelines slightly.   Brad took this all in stride and delivered top quality results, cleaned up the area well and was positive to work with the entire time.  

We will definitely contact Brad for any future needs.

Brad's estimate was spot-on.  He was very professional and efficient.  He cleaned the work area everyday before leaving.  He finished the job on time and on our budget.  Very pleased with his work.

Brad is easy to work with and the quality of the work is great.  I am very picky and have always been satisfied.

Brad spent a lot of time fixing these walls. In addition to all of the patching/mudding, he also put a sealer coat over the walls. Our only complaint was that there was minor bubbling in one section of one wall in one of the bathrooms. While he said he could come out, it might be a real "can of worms." He did say he would do it if it made me happy. I went ahead and did that minor repair myself and, given the quality of his work and the price, I would certainly have him back for future work.

him Brad is professional, courteous, flexible, and a pleasure to work with. He performs his work quickly and efficiently with high quality. If Brad wasn't pleased with how a particular nail hole looked, he went back over them until he was satisfied. Brad is a skilled painter and his efforts to clean up after himself are unusual. I really appreciated that as I maintain a very clean home. He had me walk through the home to inspect his work and there were only 1-2 nail hole repairs that I asked to work on. He would agree they needed more work (sometimes touch-up repairs look different according to the lighting). He also re-installed a wire shelf in a large closet for me with perfection, taking care of any paint touch-ups needed.
In one case, Brad was not satisfied with the way one wall looked in the M bathroom, where there were nail hole patches, and he painted that entire wall to make is look flawless (and done so quickly).
On the exterior, Brad did extensively caulk, sand trim and prime around doors in areas that were peeling, and repainted stucco in certain areas, deck railings and posts, foundation, touch up on front door. Again, Brad's skills shined with quality and efficiency. For the add-ons, Brad was able to work them in and repaired the damaged sheet rock in the garage and re-painted my garage steps.
I was very impressed when Brad went to the paint store because he wasn't happy with the existing stucco paint's sheen and knew what to do to make it blend with the rest of the stucco he wasn't painting. This is my 5th home and I cannot think of any other painter I have worked with in the last 20 years who would take this extra step.
Brad's goal is to provide quality work and ensure you are happy with the work completed. I would recommend Brad without reservation. I intend to use Brad's services in the future.

Brad painted the entire interior of our house while we were on vacation. He did a fantastic job and you could not tell he was in our house other than a new fresh paint job. He moved all the furniture and took down the pictures off the walls and put everything back exactly as it was before he started painting. Does not sub out work. He came highly recommended and I would highly recommend him also.

Brad gave me a very reasonable quote to complete my work. He came in much lower than any other companies I had contacted; I was a bit nervous because of this. He did an amazing job. He was very flexible with us as he worked around the contractors doing our master bath remodel. He came in and stripped the wallpaper first and then waited for the rest of our work to be done. When he dropped by to pick up payment for the wallpaper removal he greeted all three of my children by name. I know this does not speak to his quality of work, even though I will never hire anyone else, but as a mom it spoke volumes about his character to me. When he came back to complete the painting, he and his partner had it all done in less than a day. His work was meticulous. Not a drop of paint anywhere. It was absolutely beautiful. I did not care for the color I selected for the half bath and he express his apology for it. My husband also contacted him for advice on stripping paint off of a cabniet. Brad was more than happy to give advice and pointers. He was in constant communication via phone and text. I cannot say enough good things about Brad. We are having more work done in the next couple of months and Brad has already agreed to do it. He is reasonably priced, a good man who does quality work. - One very happy customer!

From start to finish, they did an amazing job. I just cannot recommend them highly enough. They showed up on time, worked late, worked weekends and worked hard to get the job done RIGHT. They were at the house for about a month. We had the work done before we moved in, and they finished the kitchen after we moved in. (a few days before and after Christmas).
Not only do they work hard, but they are really nice people, and their work is meticulous. I am pretty hard to please, but their paint job is really well done, and I anticipate it will last for a couple decades. They tarped the floors and didn't get a drop of paint on anything that wasn't supposed to be painted. They cleaned up, and cooperated with the multitude of other contractors we had at the house. Again, they are also really nice people.

Brad is a terrific painter. Very professional and his work is top-notch. He goes above and beyond as he even found some water spots on our ceiling that we had missed and corrected those. I whole-heartedly recommend Brad. Whenever we need anything painted in the future, he will be the one we call!

Brad removed wallpaper from an upstairs bedroom and sanded and painted a couple of areas that needed some repair. I appreciated that he was not put off by a small job and I felt his pricing was very fair. We would definitely have him work in our house again. His work was careful and his demeanor friendly and professional.

Brad Vining has painted for us before; I would choose him over anyone in KC. He is an artist. His estimate was detailed, precise and accurate. He arrived as scheduled and completed the work in about 2 1/2 weeks. (There was a lot of woodwork, which is meticulous work.) He did one area at a time and cleaned up as he went. It looks great.

Outstanding job. Strong reference to us from close friend who had referred Brad to many family & friends. We sure can see why. Brad does all the work himself. He does great work. We are "prefectionists" but we never had to point out anything to Brad; he saw the items himself and pro-actively fixed them. He never cut corners. He has a fine line for painting and an eagle eye for quality. Brad is a pleasure to work with. He's pleasant but doesn't need to tell you his life story and have affirmation every two hours like some craftsmen. He was on-time consistently and works quietly and heads down throughout the day. He cleans up thoroughly. You can readily trust him in your home. There were no extra charges which are common in wallpaper removal. Brad declined payment until the job was done completely. We're planning more work with Brad and would give him our strongest recommendation. Since he's a lower-key marketing guy, Brad is reasonably available in lead time.

THEY ARE VERY DETAILED. THEY ARE VERY NEAT AND CLEAN UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND THEY DO A WONDERFUL JOB. THEIR PAINTING JOB IS EXCELLENT. THEY REMOVE SWITCH PANELS, LIGHT FIXTURES, THEY TAPE, THEY REMOVE DOOR HARDWARE, AND ARE VERY CONSCIENTIOUS. YOU WOULDNT EVEN KNOW THEY ARE THERE WHEN THEY ARE WORKING. THEY ARE GREAT! THEIR PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE.

HAVE USED FOR EACH OF THE LAST 3 TO 4 YEARS. THEY GIVE HAND WRITTEN ESTIMATES BEFORE THE PROJECT. ALSO DOES STRIPPING. CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT WORK, WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THE EXPERIENCE.

BRAD DOES A GREAT JOB. THE PRICES ARE NOT CHEAP, BUT THEY DO A TOP QUALITY JOB. THEY ARE IN DEMAND SO IT GENERALLY TAKES A FEW MONTHS TO SCHEDULE.
