Great service, great price, very professional and courteous.

They either lost or misplaced the item.  Inquiries to the company went unanswered.  They did deliver the wrong sofa, one of lesser quality and questionable design.  The lamp and other items were delivered as expected.  Repeated letters and messages on answering machines got little or no response.  When Andy did pick up the phone one time, he was rude and uncooperative.  He indicated he put a tracer on the sofa, but nothing ever came of it.  A letter from our attorney documenting our expenses with pictures of the missing sofa and asking to be compensated for the missing item were ignored.  Andy indicated that he did not have the money.  He said we ought to feel lucky that we actually got a sofa.   Andy's mother answered the phone when he was on long haul moving assignments; she kept saying the case would be resolved, but it never was.

The goods arrived in California a week or so late.  But, the worst part was getting the goods delivered at the final destination.  It took three tries over the span of nearly a week due to a contract dispute between The Box Doctor of Kansas City and a local moving company in California that was to deliver the goods to the destination.  The only way I could get the final delivery of goods in California was to pay thelocal company an additional $387.50, even though my contract with The Box Doctor/Ambassador included that service. I contacted the company's President, Andy Holmes, and he told me they would reimburse me for this amount. Over the last five months I have sent multiple emails and placed dozens of phone calls, yet have been unable to receive reimbursement as promised. I found the President of The Box Doctor, Andy Holmes and his wife Shannon, to be very unreliable, unprofessional, and unable to be trusted. I strongly recommend NOT doing business with them.
