They were a great crew and ensured everything was completed to our expectations. We have 1985 Masonite, board and batten. They ended up replacing the entire back siding to our house and that is no easy task with many difficult cuts and trim pieces. When they were done we asked to replace another side of our house. We will have them back out to finish another side soon… and maybe our roof.

Dan and his crew did a great job on siding, decks and windows, can't recommend them enough. They did a great job at a fair price and did a great job of clean-up. Highly recommend.

I'm a DIY person who likes to do my own work as much as possible. I needed to replace the large support post for my porch roof as part of remodeling my porch; this was probably in my wheelhouse, but definitely would have taken more time that I had. Blue Valley contracting came in with an excellent bid, saving me a lot of money and allowing me to do as much of the work myself as possible. Their crew came in and finished in an afternoon what would have taken me all weekend (and maybe a little longer), saving me a lot of time and gifting me a not small amount of peace of mind. I would definitely hire them again.

Dan and his crew did an incredible job from start to finish. In our first meeting we reviewed all our options for the deck and reviewed our budget. I was very happy with Dan's suggestions and giving me different options for the final project. The timing for the deck worked into our schedule and actually was able to get the deck done a few days earlier than expected. Dan communicated with us on timing straight through the project. His crew did an exceptional job on tear down of the old deck and once finished you would not have know they were even here, that's how well they cleaned up after the job. I would recommend Dan and his company to anyone looking for a deck or other projects around the house.

From start to finish, Dan was easy to work with, pleasant, and made suggestions for the planning of a new deck. The 2 men that actually built the deck were also extremely nice and professional. I ended up with a deck that will last for many years and exceeded my expectations. I have joked to others that if the house fell down that deck would still be standing. I would highly recommend this company and they will be my first choice in any future projects.

They were very knowledgeable! The workers did an excellent job and the materials were very good! They built us a beautiful composite deck with stairs and the results are awesome! The gentlemen at Blue Valley Contracting were extremely patient while I dealt with my insurance company or in responding to my long list of questions (1st time homeowner). I didn’t have an issue getting ahold of someone to discuss any of my concerns. Their employees were surprisingly efficient in getting my siding replaced as well as getting my house painted. Considering nearly the entirety of my house needed in-depth prep work, I’m surprised I’ve only found a few spots that weren’t prepped properly. It’s too bad they haven’t expanded their business to include concrete work or the odd interior renovation, because I would much rather pay a few extra bucks and know what I can expect from Dan and his crew rather than field bids from 10 different companies. If nothing else, I found the guys at BV contracting to be honest, direct types. They won’t hound your insurance company to force a new roof out of them, but if they think there’s work to be done you can expect to hear an honest assessment.

I am very impressed with this company. My house needed exterior repairs, including a wood chimney that had been repeatedly damaged by woodpeckers. Also some areas of siding repair/replacement, windowsill trim wood rot, miscellaneous trim pieces and painting. After doing a lot of searching and getting 2 other estimates I found Blue Valley Exteriors and called the owner Dan, who returned my call promptly and came out for a free estimate. He knew what was needed and how to do it, and his detailed estimate was very reasonable so I decided to schedule the work. Repairs were started within 2 weeks. Dan, his son Chris and two of his employees came out early the first day and worked a full day. They were on time ready to work all 3 days. Dan was onsite periodically throughout the whole job to make sure things were moving along smoothly, and kept me informed of their progress. He took the time to discuss different options and materials, and came up with solutions for difficult repairs. I wanted something the birds could not destroy again, so he used James Hardie fiber cement on the chimney. The guys did a beautiful job replacing the top section, way beyond my expectations, and I am sure it was not an easy job. They were hard working, fast, paid attention to all the details and had the knowledge to do the job correctly. No cut corners here. They do excellent work and I am super happy with the results. My house looks so much better! They used quality materials, even replacing some boards I had not pointed out without any extra charges. They matched my house color really well and painted all the new boards, trim and chimney. When they were done they cleaned everything up and hauled off the trash. They did everything I asked, were very professional, reliable, honest and super nice guys. I would not hesitate to recommend Blue Valley Exteriors, and will use them again if the need arises. I have already recommended them to 3 people, and will continue to pass the word to friends and family about their excellent work.

I would recommend this business to all my family and friends. Quality work at a fair price is what I expected. I was pleasantly surprised when the job was started and thru the completion we communicated as needed. They treated me like I was their best customer or better yet like it was their own home.
