+ -1 moreI couldn't believe how fast they got the job done! I was very pleased. Be sure to confirm that you should take your machine out of the cabinet, if it is in one, before coming into the shop.
Description of Work: They did an overall tune-up of my beloved 1950-era Singer machine and switched out the original knee-handle switch for a foot switch/control. After decades of use, the original cord shorted out, which necessitated the new switch. The service itself was $50-60, the new switch was extra, of course.

The staff has always been friendly, professional, and supportive. The prices of Bernina machines are fairly high, but they are superior quality machines, and they will last a lifetime If you don't mind spending $$$ for high quality tools, this Bernina store is the place to go for all your sewing needs.

+ -1 moreA personal, one-on-one training session was included in the price of the machine. They were very nice, very helpful, and took plenty of time to teach me how to work the new machine. I love the machine, it runs like a dream, and I feel free to call them or go back in for more help if necessary.
Description of Work: They provided an estimate on repairing my 50 year old sewing machine. It would have cost more than it was worth to repair. Then they showed me a 10 year old Bernina that looked almost new, and sold it to me for a very fair price. It had been totally refurbished and had many beautiful stitches included on the machine. They were not pushy at all, just very informative.

+ -1 moreIt went great. I have an older type of sewing machine and they were able to get the parts and fix it. I spent about $80. I took it in, they said they could take care of it, they said it was built like a tank but they knew they still had parts for it so all it needed was to get some parts oiled up and that was about it. They did the job, they were courteous and they were on time as to when the job would be done.

Description of Work: My 20 year old Bernina Machine was not feeding fabric like it should and was making a clicking sound when going at faster speeds. It had probably been about 3-4 years since it had been serviced. I took it to Bernina for service and adjustment. They had it cleaned, adjusted and working well within a few days. They always do a good job for me.

+ -1 moreIt’s a great place. A lot of places put pressure on me to buy a new one but they keep my machine operating beautifully. They keep telling me that I have a great machine. So I think they’re honest and they have great technicians. I spent $70 or $80 the last time. The price is hard to know but I think it’s probably comparable with any other kind of sewing machine repair. Their quality is great. I will use them again in the future.
