Archer Plumbing

We called Archer Plumbing, whom we had used before, because a bathroom sink drain that had been slow for years had finally become almost totally clogged.  They were able to send someone out that same day.  He tried cleaning the drain with an electric snake, but was unsuccessful because a long section of pipe was clogged.  We agreed with his suggestion to replace six or seven feet of metal pipe with PVC to solve the problem permanently.  We scheduled him to come back two days later (the delay was at our request, not his), and he completed the job in about 2 hours.  The job required breaking out some of the drywall in the back of the bathroom vanity, but that was unavoidable.  There were some splatters and sawdust to clean up afterwards, but my husband said that if I had seen what it looked like before, I would think the plumber's clean-up job was pretty good.  The sink drains perfectly now, and I doubt that we will ever have a problem with clogging again.
