house painters
+ -1 moreMr. Fletcher was unprofessional. His workers were rude & disrespectful. One of them went on a cursing rant in front of my child. Mr. Fletcher himself threatened me with putting a lien on my property when I insisted the work be done as stated in the contract. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had as a home owner. This is the reason I joined Angie's List, so I wouldn't have to go through this again!
Description of Work: Mr. Fletcher was hired to do exterior painting on a duplex that is 20 years old. He submitted a bid, the bid was accepted, & he did not perform the work promised. He did not power wash the exterior before scraping & painting. He did not prime new or bare wood. He did not clean up daily. The paint began peeling in areas almost immediately. The front door looked awful. He lost the house numbers & did not replace them. He did not respond to calls to come back & make this work right even though he provided a 5-year warranty. The BBB was of no help to me.
