I have used them for years and our lawn looks fabulous. They are responsive and professional.

They came when they said they would and did the work as agreed.
Mike, the owner, always answers my questions and does all the work promptly.
I like using a local business and I feel like they value my business.

I have worked with Mike at The Natural Choice! for 5 or 6 years. The treatments were effective, hence sticking wiht the company for multiple years.
However, I have 2 dogs that I often leave in my fenced in back yard when the weather is nice. I asked repeatedly to be contacted the night before he planned to have someone come treat my yard so I could be sure to have my dogs inside. Sometimes they called the morning of, often after I had left for work. About 1/3 of the time they would call the day before so I could make a point to leave the dogs in. I got pretty assertive about the necessity of letting me know the day before. They got a little better for a while, but far from reliable on this point. Half the time I left the dogs in just out of sheer luck on treatment day, e.g. it was going to be a hot day.
I have tried to be a respectful client and Mike was usually good to follow up when I had questions or concerns, in the past. However, in the last year or two Adam took over more of the control, at least for my yard, and I never did seem to connect with him.
Last year I started to use a liquid fish emulsion fertilizer that is MUCH more environmentally friendly and easily applied with a hose, so I said I would do the fertilizer applications myself to save some money. The quality of service seemed to take a real nose dive last year.
This year I never received the mailing, that Mike has sent out in the past, to confirm with customers if they want to sign up for a season package, remind folks that it is time to start thinking about lawn care, etc. Also, last fall I had said that I could not seed in the fall (budget issues), but definitely planned to in the spring. I never heard a thing. I talked to Mike about an hour ago and his respsonse was, and quot;Well, it looks like he (I assume Adam) tried to call you once, but you were not home.and quot; I asked Mike why didn't he leave a message or try again. He just said he did not know. When I mentioned seeding my yard, he said, and quot;It is already in the 90's and the seed does not germinate well when it gets so hot.and quot; I can understand that, but it is not going to stay in the 90's for more than the next couple of days. Then it will be back in the 70's with cool evenings. Also, my yard looks really pathetic and he offered absolutely NO suggestions for help. The service has become very poor.
Whatever. It has just gotten to the point that it is like pushing string. He did not seem to give a darn if I continued as a client or not, so I am looking elsewhere.

We have used The Natural Choice for over 20 years. They were the only company in our area at the time that provided lawn care with minimal use of harsh chemicals and an emphasis on natural plant care. They have treated our lawn, shrubs and trees. If for any reason we are not happy or a problem is not immediately resolved, they come right back out within 48 hours to retreat. They are always curteous, professional and take the time to explain what they are doing, how the treatment works and what to expect. They are more expensive than companies that treat your lawn with hazardous chemicals, but the plants are naturally healthy and the environment does not suffer.

They did a great job and they are very professional at their work.

They come to the house several times during the year, I have a service contract, and they fertil;ize and put doen weed killer. They use environmentally safe and pet friendly materials.

We are very happy with The Natural Choice Lawn Care company. They come, do their job and leave without any fuss or mess. You wouldn't know they were there, except I've seen them out of the window sometimes. They leave a door hanger bag with your invoice, a description of the exact work done that day and the exact amounts and types of fertilizer/herbicide/pesticide used, and a newsletter discussing lawn care tips for that month or season. You can either pre-pay for a nice discount, or mail your payment after the service is done from the invoice they leave. The few times I have been home when they have come, they have been both professional and pleasant to talk to. And they always close our fence gate, so that our dog does not get out. FYI, they do not mow lawns, but do give recommendations on how you should best mow your own lawn (or have others do it) to improve the health of your grass and encourage deep root growth, while minimizing water use and toxic products. All in all, great folks that I would recommend to others, especially if you want natural, non-toxic lawn care.

We're on a system where they come periodically for weed control, and they leave us a note about what they do. We had some major issues with the lawn. Basically, we had a big clay front lawn for a while, and no one wanted to deal with it. What this company has done has really, really helped. They did some verti-cutting and grass seed application.
