The Moving Crew

Steven called me an hour before the move was scheduled to see if it was okay if they got started early. They showed up on time and got right to work. They did a very good job at keeping our stress levels down with their professional and friendly attitudes. All in all I think the move took about 6 hrs. It would have taken less time had we been organized from the get go. Not their fault that we weren't. lol We had an issue with unhooking the washer that would take way too long to explain here but suffice to say that Steven went above and beyond to resolve it in a very creative and acceptable manner. The unload was the easiest part by far. I sat on the porch swing and directed traffic. =) They put everything where I directed them to and were quick. Also, I have some antiques they were extremely careful with. They padded the doorway (old and new place) for some extra protection but they were so careful with everything, it wasn't necessary. The quote we got was a ballpark of 4-6 hours (I understand they do free in-home quotes, I did NOT opt for that) and we came in right at 6 hrs. As I mentioned earlier, I would have taken less time had it not been for the washer debacle and the fact that we weren't as organized as we would have liked to have been.

The company movers caused damage to my home. When I contacted them to discuss it, I was told I'd be responsible for the repairs myself, even if they turned it in to their insurance - I'd be responsible for their co-pay. They never offered to assess the damages, immediately stated that their crew was told to create the damages, and while they eventually stated they would fix the damages, they never called me back as they had promised they would. They insulted myself, called my family liars and bullied me in their discussion.

Very well. Two crew members and less than 30 minutes of work. Careful of walls and stairway.

This team of Movers was the best I've ever used! We moved from Overland Park to Wichita. The whole team was so professional and courteous. They were on time and FAST! They quoted me a fixed price that was the same I paid at the end. And it was a much cheaper price than other movers I'd called for the same job. They worked with us when our close date for the house was bumped a week with no trouble at all. They loaded everything with precision making sure not to break or bump anything. They packed the truck like tetris and to my utter surprise it ALL fit! They also made sure to move everything into the correct rooms and right where we wanted it. If it didn't work in a spot, they'd move it without any trouble. LOVE this crew!
