Southwest Plaza Animal Clinic

I was somewhat disappointed with my experience with this vet. More of the staff than the Vet yet overall, I was not happy with the outcome. I took my cat in who is a little under 2 years old. We wanted to get her back legs declawed due to her making marks in our furniture and it needing to be done to prevent damage. Although I know there is a risk to an older cat and they did tell me there could be a longer healing process, my cat is in obvious pain. When you look at her right back foot, you can tell there was to much taken off as it looks like she is missing a entire toe. I called twice and originally made an appointment for a follow up yet cancelled it due to weather and giving it one more day to see if our cat would improve in walking. I called later that day (about a week after the original appointment) and informed the assistant that I would like to come back in to let the vet take a look to ensure everything was OK yet she stated it was close to closing time and the vet was already tied up for the remaining 30 minutes that they were open. I informed her that I was concerned and really wanted to ensure there was no infection yet she didn't really seem to care and wouldn't allow us to come back in. I live 5 minutes away from this office yet still couldn't get in. They told me to wait until Monday. Again, I think the vet is pretty good yet my old vet would have just told me to come in just to ensure the cat was in good health. I was a bit disappointed and will probably not go back.

Great. Vet is thorough and takes time to talk with us during appointment. Staff is very friendly and I feel very comfortable leaving my puppy overnight there.

It went really good. It was a good experience. We ended up switching just because of a distance issue. Our house was a little further off than we knew when we first moved here. Everything was fine. The front desk staff was really nice and really helpful. They went out of their way to make sure everything was good. With regard to price, I don't really remember, but moving from Houston to Kansas City, I would say that the price was pretty comparable. I don't remember it being outrageous. With regard to punctuality, I didn't have to wait long.

This place has been great so far. They personalize the service very well. We had some family members recommend them to us, and we have been satisfied.

Fantastic! Dr. B is very thorough and so compassionate. It is obvious that he and his entire staff are huge animal lovers. He explained the risks and reasons he recommended the surgery. Super professional.
