Scout Pest Elimination

Had a critter crawling around between our first and second floor. Scout came by and did a quick inspection, gave me some suggestions of things I could do to seal up some possible entry points, and didn't charge me for the visit! They were knowledgeable, professional, and super helpful. I'll definitely be calling them if we have future pest issues.

I bought the Angies list offer of a year of treatments which included four treatments, 3 of which were outdoors and one was indoors. The treatments appear to be effective as we haven't had any insect activity.

I purchased a service on Angie's list that did not include drilling of concrete. We had had a Termidor treatment previously that did include concrete drilling and Scout Pest Elimination gave me a good price on re-drilling the same plugged holes. I spoke with the tech as he was doing the work and helped him locate all the locations on the concrete. The job was completed timely and without incident.

Got rid of 90% of pests. Glue pests control board placed at specific areas got rid of the rest.

Showed up on time, very professional and did the pest control spray for a reasonable price. However I've got spiders all over - outside and inside less than 2 weeks after the spray. While it could be because it rained for a few days right after the spray but I am still dealing with the problem, hence a B.

He arrived on time, was friendly and performed the spray. the bug are still gone as of 12/10 and the wasp never returned

Quickly and quietly and very effectively

Bryan who is the owner was a very personable guy, that explained his service very well. Once he arrived, on time, he made sure to ask about any problem areas and what was happening with those areas. He then did a complete cover of the house with his pest elimination product. Bryan then made his way outside and covered the entire yard and house with his product. This was a great experience for me, and will definitely use Scout Elimination in the future.

Bryan came promptly at the appointed time and completed a very thorough job. So far, no bugs have sneak through. Fantastic! I would definitely use him again.

Went great. We've used Scout before and found them to be great to work with. When we had to remove a large tree this spring we found it infested with carpenter ants, and it wasn't long before they moved into the house. We called, they came out, and the problem was solved. We did request a follow up later in the summer (probably because of the large amounts of rain this year) and they came out and covered the second visit under warranty. Bottom line- good to work with, will use them again.

It went well. But the competition sprays many more areas around the yard and the perimeter of the house.

I'd purchased a deal on Angie's List from Scout. The exterminator showed up shortly after the appointment time, well within the estimated window. I explained what the issues were (black ants mostly). He explained that because of all the rain, he would be able to treat for them but may have to come back within the warranty period. (Warranty? I guess I really didn't expect that... or that he would be so frank about it). He sprayed inside the house and then I followed him outside to point out where I had seen the ants entering our house. In those locations he placed a gel and some granular ant bait that the ants were picking up and hauling off as we spoke. He asked if I wanted him to spray now or come back after the forecast of heavy rain. It didn't make sense to spray and have the chemical washed away, so asked him to come back. Two business days later he stopped by while I was at work and treated the outside of the house. We've still got a few ants around, but I also haven't called back for the warranty visit. The situation is so much better now! The ants aren't in our kitchen anymore, but they are still hanging around on the other side of the house. I also noticed several types of insects laying around dead after the visit. I didn't even know we had those bugs around... whatever they were. But they are gone now! I will certainly be calling Scout for the warranty treatment and also setting up some sort of regular treatment so this doesn't get out of hand again. Honest, straight-forward dealing, and did a great job on a discounted treatment. Exactly what I wanted.

Bryon is very professional person who takes the right amount of time with the homeowner yet goes about his business. I believe he is very trustworthy and so far, the ants have not visited me this year. I plan on calling this company again.

Termites were trying to get into our house. Had a number of companies come out. Brian (Scout) was the only one to find a termite trail that the other companies did not find or that I personally did not find and treat. The termites just showed up and we stopped them in their tracks, no damage done to dwelling. From what the other companies were describing their treatment was going to be, Brian did a more thorough treatment. He is a great person, was on time and professional. Assuming the chemicals are going to perform, I would say this service and experience was terrific.
