PMI Midwest was a subcontractor on our complete basement remodel, which totaled over 1,500 sq ft. Due to the size of the project, Paul and his crew were in our house for several weeks, and were a pleasure to work with. We never felt imposed upon by them and they were very respectful of us and our property, always cleaning up any debris and mess created by the work. Their attention to detail was impressive and very appreciated. Due to the fact that our basement had been added onto by the previous owner, we encountered numerous challenges with the existing framing, ductwork and electrical. Paul proved himself to be a great problem solver, coming up with creative solutions that met our needs while staying within the requirements of the general contractors. He was very receptive to our input and listened closely to our concerns, asking a lot of questions until he really understood what we were trying to accomplish. Additionally, Paul identified a previously damaged floor joist and provided a cost-effective solution to the problem that he resolved by that afternoon. Throughout the project, Paul proved himself to be thoroughly knowledgeable about construction parameters and details. In the very early stages, Paul was the one who quickly identified the load-bearing requirements of several walls that we wanted to remove, and was clearly the expert that our general contractors relied heavily on.
