We were solicited by over 20 roofing contractors following a widespread severe hailstorm which occurred in April 2011. Based upon reviews, primarily from out of state, we selected PCR which was one of the companies who claimed to be experienced in the installation of stone-coated steel. They pushed us to gain approval from the insurance company to appoint them as a general contractor which provides a higher fee for service. This, combined with our willingness to post signs in our yard resulted in a promise for a rebate of our deductible ($2000). We agreed.
It took months and many calls to get them to start the work which didn't start until December, when the weather was already cold. They NEVER answer their own phones; an answering service takes the calls and promises a call back which never comes. We finally got the roof on. They use non-English speaking migrant workers to complete the work. It took 4 days and looked satisfactory. However, the first rainstorm in the spring proved that there were leaks which caused damage to the ceilings. Again, we had to try to get a hold of them. No response to messages. We threatened a lawsuit and finally got the attention of somebody in their Texas office. They sent a migrant worker to inspect. He indicated that the roof flashing was missing from a critical corner of the roof which resulted in the leak. He indicated that he fixed the problem. We expected them to repair the discolored ceiling but they told us that they could only trim paint. Since the ceiling was completely white, this would show a repair unless the entire ceiling was painted. They told us that we would have to pay if we wanted anything other than the damage painted. Their painter never showed up. So we arranged for our own painter to make the repair.
Fast forward 2 years: Mold and additional water damage has reappeared in the same location. I will be attempting to reach them to address the damage. But I have much less patience. If they don't respond or don't properly address the damage, I will sue them.
Bottom line: Don't buy services from out of state ambulance chasers like PCR. They are there to get the business but not there when the work is done. And they do shoddy work.

I went with them because some other people in my neighborhood had used them. I worked with a salesman called Todd Lynch and he was excellent. I have a steel stone-coated roof and it is very expensive and they worked with my insurance from the hail damage that Todd does. The cost of the roof was $59000 and I had worked with another salesman for a month and he couldn't get the insurance released and I was going to go with a composite roof but I changed salesman and Todd ended up getting me a week or two and that was enough to put it on. I only had to pay $2500 that was my deductible. We had a wood shingle roof and the insurance company wanted to put a composite roof on since it was much cheaper and this one is a standard roof and may be even a better one. It was really the salesman that did it and then they did a very good job of putting it on. He was able to get it on in time before I painted my house. He was really helpful. He is even trying to help me get my air conditioners replaced because they were damaged so bad. He even helped with the gutters and knew really good gutter people. I just think that they were excellent. They weren't the best on pricing but not the cheapest either. You could probably get work done cheaper but they got my pricing for me to do it with the insurance. They worked on the pricing and dealt with my insurance and I don't know if anybody else could have done it that well. They did very good work. I had worked with the previous salesman and waited for a month but wasn't getting anywhere with him and was ready to give it up but it was Todd who really made things work.
