 + -1 moreI called Parsons Electronics because I had been having multiple problems with my big flat panel TV. It took too long to turn on, the picture had hundreds of random red pixels on it and the display quality was in general suffering. When talking to Rich prior to his coming to my home I was somewhat supprised when he indicated that he thought he already knew the solution to my TV's problems. He was on time for our appointment and his phone diagnosis turned out to be correct. He quickly completed the work and then made sure all was operating properly before leaving. I enjoyed dealing with Parsons Electronics and will call them again for any TV or other electronics problems.
Description of Work: Rich removed my 52" flat panel TV from it's wall mount and carefully put it face down on 3 pillows to cushion the LCD. He then removed the back panel and did diagnostic checks. His checks confirmed the suggested diagnosis (capacitor failures) that he had provided to me earlier on the phone when I called him about the problems I was having. He replaced four capacitors and reassembled the TV and checked out his repairs which solved the problems. Rich was very friendly and is obviously very knowledgeable. In addition, he went out of his way to give me some pointers on TV set up which resulted in a better picture than I had been getting.
