I met with Perry over several months and had many phone conversations with him prior to hiring him for my project. He arrived to the meetings on time, had excellent advise (sometimes not the kind I wanted to hear) - but needed to! When I needed an opinion on topics he didn't have experience in he managed to have someone there on site to provide additional insight and advise - that allowed me to make an informed decision.
I plan to work with Novis Architecture once my project gets off the ground and would highly recommend you contact him for his experience, talents and architecture skills. He is #1 in my book!
PS - As we have built a great business relationship and I've gotten to know him on a personal level - I bought some BBQ ribs from his son to support his Boy Scout summer camp plans too. Yum, Yum! (Perry's a good Dad for smoking all those ribs!)

We found Mr. Quick's work to be extremely valuable.   Not only did he very thoroughly complete the drawings for the addition as you would expect, he also asked many questions and provided structured answers to questions that we had regarding what we really wanted to do with the addition.   At his suggestion, we ultimately "dual purposed" the construction of the room-- to be a woodworking shop initially and then framed and wired so that we could fairly easily convert it to a library with a back patio at a time of our choosing.   We found Mr. Quick to be very knowledgeable-- essentially "full of ideas"-- and very able to talk to us as homeowners and not members of a construction crew.   He boiled the ideas and designs down to common, every day language which greatly helped to facilitate the process.   Additionally, Mr. Quick came to the construction site to monitor the work being done on numerous occasions.   This proved to be invaluable in that the subcontractor doing the concrete work involved experienced significant problems in pouring the foundation walls.   Mr. Quick pointed out the mistakes being made during one of his visits and the problems were then subsequently corrected.   All in all, I found Mr. Quick easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and one who clearly felt a professional responsibility toward the homeowner.    I would definitely recommend him to others as well as use him again should we need such help in the future.
