Bill arrived on time, confirmed my pump was dead, explained the options for replacement, and recommended the less expensive option. My instillation was more difficult because I have a backup pump which made space very cramped. Bill solved this problem and was thorough in explaining the new pump. Overall cost was less than What was estimated over the phone. Terry the scheduler was great even though there were lots of emergency call due to recent 4.5 inch rain event.

Robert was able to fix my exsisting pump but pointed out potential issues that could result in a failure 1-2 years down the road.  No pressure sale whatsoever and went with a new sump pump.  Great service!

He took a look at my sump pump. He was very knowledgeable. he cleaned out a bunch of debris from my sump pump which was clogging up the intake. Only charged me for a service call. I am calling him back to install a new bump with battery back up. He was very easy to deal with and didn't do a hard selling job. I highly recommend him.

I was extremely pleased with my experience with KC Pumpman, and wish that all service professionals were this great! I had a noisy sump pump that was making a banging noise, and KC Pumpman was able to diagnose the problem and provide an estimate over the phone. The technician was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He arrived prepared to fix the problem, and in addition to fixing it, spent lots of time giving me detailed information and recommendations about our 2 sump pumps. This is a house we just purchased, so it was very useful getting his take on our drainage and sump pump situation. He also gave us some tips on ways that we could save money on future sump pump work, which was appreciated. Would highly recommend KC Pumpman, and happily use them again should the need arise.

My battery back-up pump would run whenever it rained.  I assumed that the primary pump was failing and would need replacement. The price quoted for this was $351 for the entire job, which seemed quite reasonable to me.  Bob came out early in the 2-hour window that we had scheduled.  He was an absolute gem to work with.  He clearly does everything he can to fix the problem without adding unwarranted costs.  In my case, he immediately saw that he could repair the pump and would not require a new pump.  He only charged me $80 total (the price of a service call) for the nearly 2 hours he was on the job.  He describes himself as "frugal" and showed it by using perfectly good parts from other jobs instead of having to charge me for new items.  As an example, he happened to have a basin lid that he had from another job and put it on my basin for no extra charge.  He had some baking powder with him and cleaned up the area around the battery so that battery acid would not do damage to the wooden deck that it rested on.

I am very appreciative of the one thing he did not do...he didn't put down the work that previous people did.  The norm, as I have experienced it in recent years, is for service people to immediately come into your home and start telling you how badly the last guy botched the job.  I guess this is supposed to make me feel as if I now have found the real expert in the area.  I react in the opposite direction.  I probably won't call on the service person who puts others down on future jobs. In fact, I've always wished I could have the "last guy" that he is talking about walk into the room and be told to his face what a poor job he did.

I couldn't ask for a better experience than this one with Bob and KC Pumpman.

They were very good. They showed up in an emergency, and somehow we overpaid, and they figured out that we had overpaid, and they made a refund, which was really nice. We would have never known if they hadn't been honest about it. The pricing was good.

Chose the pupmnan because he was cheaper than the plumber i had look at my sump and appeared to have a few good reviews on here.  Besides that, the radon guy who said he didnt even know these guys liked his work!
The KC pumpman arrived on time and was just great!  Such a great guy to work with.  He evaluated my current setup and gave me some ideas on what to do.  I also had landscapers come out to my house to help with the drainage part and he came out and talked to them too about what he was d*** and provided some helpful info.
He worked on it for almost 4 hours in total and cleaned up after himself, even cleaning up some cobwebs before the battery placement.  I wish all contractors who came to my house were like him.

Arrived as scheduled. Was careful about carpet. Found the issue pretty quickly - he deals only with sump problems, so he is very knowledgeable.

Very prompt response to an emergency call when the old pump failed. Very knowledgeable about pump options, had all required parts in stock and on the truck. Very professional and courteous in his dealings. Also provided good information about back-up pump options but did not aggressively sell.
