KC House Whisperer

We asked Keith Worrel, owner of KC House Whisperer, to provide us with a pre-sale inspection of our home. We wanted to identify any issues we had to take care of prior to the sale of our home. Keith had inspected our home when we bought it 15 years ago, so we knew he would do a thorough job. He did. First he walked around the exterior of the home with us covering a long list of items on his detailed inspection report, then throughout the interior, room by room from basement to second floor to attic. Among many other things, he checked the wall sockets, especially the GFI sockets in every bathroom to ensure they were working. He measured the depth of the insulation in the attic. He checked the operation of windows. The list of items he checked is extensive. In the end he provided us a detailed report. As it turned out, he found only a few minor problems. One of the reasons we had confidence in his analysis was that we had known Keith as a builder at one point when we were considering having a home built. He talked with us in detail about his experiences in building his own homes for his personal use and how that led him into the building trade because he wanted to provide the quality he insisted upon for himself.
