Initial estimate appointment with Joe Barker was good. He brought a lot of options of floor samples to choose from. We chose our flooring and paid a deposit. The crew showed up on time and got to work immediately. Denis was the crew supervisor for the job and answered all questions promptly. The vinyl plank flooring was done in a few days and then a separate crew came out the following day and did the stair carpeting. Everything looks fantastic. Small issues were corrected quickly and Joe was always available for followup via text or call. I would definitely hire them again for any future carpet or flooring needs

Did a great job recommending style and color that would hold up to kids and dogs. They were timely in their responses when I had scheduling questions. The installers vacuumed the area and cleaned up well after the project was done. We love the new carpet, a huge improvement.

Joe and his team did a great job of making sure we were fully satisfied with the finished product. They did patching of our hardwood where we removed a wall and it looks so good that you would never even know it was a patch job! I would recommend Floor Coverings International for all your flooring projects!

My parents used floor coverings for their new house. They were so great to work with. The contractor added a railing to their stairs after the carpet was laid, and it messed up the new carpet. Joe's team was out the next day to cut it and make it fit properly. Honest and reliable!

Great. The crew were professional and careful. They took their time screwing the floor into the subfloor (prior installation had nails that were too short), ensured the home was cleaned thoroughly on their way out every day and were prompt in touching up small blemishes. We actually stayed at home (in the basement and upstairs) during the entire time, and have not second-guessed that decision. Overall, just great!

Everything from picking the tile to installation was a breeze. Very professional crew. Did excellent work. Would definitely recommend.

Very well. Joe's design consultant Theresa came out and helped my wife and I pick out a color that we both love. The crew did a fantastic job of tying in the old and new wood so that it is unnoticeable where we had carpet before. They also did a great job running the panels up and underneath our fireplace. We obtained multiple bids and FCI came in better than all of them, and the service was top notch.

I called several quotes on refinishing my floors and their price was good.   Floor Coverings International KC South was our top choice and we weren't disappointed.  I do in home daycare and they came out on a Wednesday and sanded(before nap time so it was quiet and the kids napped) and got the stain down and dried in time before my parents came to pick up their kiddos.  They were very good in working with me so I wouldn't have to take a day off.  We left for Colorado that Wednesday night and came home to BEAUTIFUL floors on Sunday pm!  It's not dust free and I'm still cleaning but it was well worth it!! The crew was nice and did a good job.  If I can do this with 5 little ones in daycare, a dog and 3 teenagers, you can do it also and you won't regret it because your floors will look FANTASTIC!  All my daycare parents say how great they look.  We are very pleased with the whole process and I can't stop looking at my beautiful new floors!

From the first call I knew this was a company that I could trust in my home, as well as their expertise in the industry. Mr. Barker was very professional when he came out to quote the project and even brought along one of his installers to inspect the subfloor. They were quick to point out a few other issues that if we didn't get fixed would cause us more trouble down the road. Mr. Barker brought along samples that we could pick from which was helpful to put next to the paint on the walls to give us a visual. We got our quote back in 24 hours. Other companies that we got quotes from took anywhere from 1-2 weeks to get our quotes back. Floor Coverings International quote came in middle of the pack but the other companies did not point out the extra issues that Barker had found. We chose to go with Floor Coverings International and Mr. Barker had us scheduled for the following week. Demo crew showed up on time and made short work of the demolition of the bathroom. They kept the dust and debris cleaned up and were in and out. The following day Mr. Barker was the first one there to inspect the work of the demo crew and help get the installers mapped out for the days work. Mr. Barker returned 3 times that day to check on progress and confirm the work was being done properly. Within a week and a half they had everything wrapped up and our new floor/shower/tub looked great. Mr. Barker was there for final inspection to make sure we were satisfied with the work. Any chance I get to recommend a flooring company I hand out Mr. Barker's business card. I will definitely use them within the next year to put flooring/bathroom tile in the current unfinished basement.

It went very well. I reached out to a 3 companies about my project. Joe was was one of the top that was very personable and punctual. I contacted Floor Coverings KC and Joe contacted me within the specific time window i specified that I was available to talk about the project. They were very flexible when it came to times to see the rooms and size of the project. They were very knowledgeable about products. Joe was very easy to talk to and he made sure to ask lots of questions to make sure I was getting the product I wanted.  He provided me with a timely quote and it was a fair price! The instal was very painless. Joe from Floor Coverings was there to make sure it was done right. Overall it was a good experience and my friends and family have nothing but nice things to say about how nice the carpet is. 

We are very happy with our experience.  They showed up on time for the initial appointment.  Joe, who is the owner was our sales person which we thought was great that the owner works with customers.  Joe showed us a several options for carpet and we got the pricing during that first visit versus having to wait.  Installation went real smooth.  Joe showed up to introduce us to his installers, he also did a final walk through with us to make sure we were completely happy.  Great experience, we have already recommended him to our neighbors.
