I'll start by stating the workmanship of the flooring put in was good. The installers removed carpet from the living, family and dining rooms. They removed the hardwood floors from the kitchen and took out the tile in the entry. All was good, except the entry. They did not get that smooth, so we can feel where the tile grout was before. The new planks were installed, which have varying widths and the installers did a great job. We chose Floor Coverings International, because of the selling points they made, which were included in the video they have prospective customers watch. The three selling points that sold us to go with them were: punctuality and as we were told 'we show up when we say we're going to show up,' 'we don't sub contract out,' and 'we assign a project manager who will be your point of contact.' These were false statements for our job. The project was projected to take five days... four days for the planks and one day for replacing the carpet on two sets of stairs. They said they would arrive at 8am on Monday. We had to call the project manager at 8:30am to see when they would be arriving. The project manager showed up at 9. He said the workers were on their way and left. They showed up at 9:30am and had no clue what the job included. We had to call the project manager to have him come back and tell the workers what had to be done. Once the workers knew what to do, it was now 11am. They finished up day one at 4:15pm. Day two (Tuesday,) the crew didn't show up until 11am (they told us they would be there at 8:30am,) took an hour lunch and finished up the day at 3:15pm. Our project manager had no clue where the crew was that day and waited out front that morning from 9am until 11 when they showed up. We asked him why there was such a problem of knowing where the crew was and were told it's because this crew was subcontracted. So much for this company not doing that. We had similar issues Wednesday. Finally, Thursday, after calling our salesperson, to escalate, we had five people show up and they knocked out the floor in three hours. I'm calling this info out, because my wife and I made sure one of us took time off to have somebody home each day. Clearly, they could have done this project faster had they given us a full crew and/or had they showed up at the time they said they would. Note, they had some touch work to do and it took two days shy of one month to get them back to finish those items. Last, to the stairs, this was scheduled to be done that Friday. We were told they would show up at 9. The Project manager came over at 9:30 and told us the person would be there at 11. At noon, we got a call from the carpet installer, not the project manager saying he couldn't make it that day, because the previous job took longer than expected. Would have been nice to know that much earlier in the day. So, I took Monday afternoon off, so they could come and do the stairs. He was targeting 2 - 3pm, but didn't get to the house until 4:30pm. At 6pm, he called a second person to come help him. They did finish the work, but it wasn't until 10:30pm. Luckily, our kids were on spring break. All in all, the quality of work turned out good, minus where the front tile was. Being lied to about not sub-contracting, We chose this company because of these things. We could have gone with a different company that offered the same exact product at a cheaper price, but we decided to spend more for the things we didn't end up getting. The owner was apologetic about how the project went, but it definitely didn't fix anything for us.

WOW ... they were fast, efficient, professional, and all around amazing. The ONLY group of workers that showed up on time and did what they said they were going to do in the time they promised. I'd definitely recommend them!!

Extremely smooth process. Helpful every step of the way. Thorough consultation, helped us with decisions for our situations. Assisted us on areas to save money. Managed and followed up with contractors, inspected work at the end of each project. Went the extra mile, cleaning up after contractors, even emptied our trash! Was patient and answered all of our questions. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone with flooring needs!
