It's been 7 years and I'm still pretty upset about the quality of the work done. The owner came out, was a very knowledgeable, pleasant person. The people who came out to do the work were pleasant enough, but no one present spoke english when we had questions or concerns. Among the problems we had included: ?Incorrectly installed flashing (messily caulked against the shingles instead of tucked under). ?Lots of nails beneath shingles that weren't nailed in all the way, causing lumps and popped up shingles. ?Flashing which stopped short of the gutters, so that water would run behind the gutters. All of these issues were pointed out to the owner who would promptly send out an employee to fix them. The employee would show up and sort of half-fix the problem, or try and justify (falsely) why things couldn't be fixed. This of course was frustrating, compounded by the fact that the employees spoke limited, if any, English. After much badgering, we got most of the issues resolved, but other issues I simply fixed myself out of frustration. The biggest issue, however, is that the roofers didn't adequately mix up the shingles out of the boxes. Consequently, we have patches and large stripe of like-colored shingles on our roof, which has only become more obvious over time. We also had all 3 of our window well covers damaged during construction, which I just swallowed because it was just one more thing to deal with. After I looked into it and found out how much they would cost to replace, I wish I had raised more of a fuss about them when it happened.
