The day of the job, the husband came out along with another worker. They were friendly and did little extras that we asked them too. We added a couple of walls to the original order. They gave us a fair charge for the additional walls and we had them paint them too.
They were friendly when my daughters came home from school and courteous throughout the day. I will use them in the future when we have more things to paint because I like and trust them.
"Thank you for your feedback. To all current clients who know us and our work and to the future client who may be reading this review and have questions: I did discuss each of the clients concerns with him face to face. I take client concerns very seriously and will die trying to receive an A+ grade every time! His claim to "not finishing the job" refers to some masking tape that got over looked in being pulled off in a couple of places. For the covering of the blinds and beds I had told the client that he needed to move all of the personal items prior to our arrival. He then indicated that they were packing up and expected to be moving out by the time of our arrival. He did NOT advise us that this had changed and I did not send the guys prepared to work in a home that was still full of stuff. We did not complain about this but went ahead and began moving all of the clients personal items in order to get the work done on the time schedule that he had set. We moved everything thing from tooth brushes to book cases full of books. The client did help with some of the moving. We were only painting walls and it isn't standard practice to cover furniture in the middle of a room for simply one coat painting on walls since this is done by hand. I did apologize to the client for the guys not covering all of his stuff at his request and this will not happen again. The clean up afterwards was something that the client did not express to me at walk through time or even give me a chance to correct. With the "dust clean up", there was so much dust everywhere already (not from us), that we are not sure what he was expecting for $2100. If he would have told us that he expected a full house clean, we would have provided that for him. As far as communication between the owner of the company (myself) and the client being poor, I would have to agree that this client did not communicate his needs or expectations to me at all. However, as you can see EVEN here the quality and pricing of our work is top notch. If you are looking for a company that provides quality work, that will bend over backwards to meet your needs and leave your home beautiful, then we are the company for you."
"Thank you for your feedback! It is greatly appreciated. Good luck with your home sale."
"Thank you for your feedback! It was a pleasure working for you! Please let us know if we can assist you further!"
"Thank you for your feedback. I do apologize if there were drips on the garage floor. I would be more than happy to come out and clean those for you. Please let me know if I can assist you in the future. Garage painting is done much differently than interior painting in an occupied house."
"Thank you for your feedback! It is much appreciated and I look forward to helping you on any future project you may have."
"Thank you for your feedback! It is much appreciated."
"I am sorry to have received a B in price and quality. This was a 6 hour job that we a deal purchase. It is really hard to do quality trim work in 6 hours and if I ever did a 6 hour deal again it would explicitly exclude trim painting from the scope. I hope you will give us a chance on a regular project in the future."
"Thank you for your feedback. It is much appreciated. I hope to have earned your business for a lifetime. Please let us know if there is anything else that we can help you with in the future."
Only two minor complaints - 1) they asked me to fill in the nail holes when they got there (perhaps that was because they had seen I had done a couple larger holes, so knew I had the spackle and ability to do it, and 2) one of the individuals received several phone calls during the work time (typically not a bid deal, but when you paid for a limited amount of service time, as a customer you want to see that time maximized).
I am happy with the quality of the work done and the cost of the service. I would probably use them again.
"Thank you for your feedback. It is much appreciated. Please let me know if you need anything in the future."
We were preparing the house for sale. The master bedroom and staircase had high ceiling and needed professional help. I bought an Angie's deal for $199. When Jessica came to do the site survey, I mentioned that we'd have carpet work as well. She said her company would work on carpet and gave me an estimate, which turned out to be a better pricing of two. I was impressed with her knowlege and willing to work with us.
They did the paing job one day and the carpet replacement of 4 bedroom, 1/2 of a bathroom, closets and the 2nd floor hall way the following day. We moved out of state before they did the work and haven't returned home yet but according to our realtor they did a good job.
Had to pay 1/2 cost up front and then the rest after all the work was done. We didn't need financing but if anyone needs finacing this company doesn't do it.
"Thank you for your feedback! It was a pleasure working with you. We hope you are enjoying your home. Please let us know if we can do anything else in the future."
"The coupon was for 1 man for 6 hours. The coupon also did not include paint. You got 2 guys for 4 hours on your project and the majority of the extra cost was for the paint that we provided and the additional 2 man hours which was under $50, porportionate to the coupon offer. The coupon was created by Angie's List and I will probably never offer that one again because it is hard for most people to understand how it works."
