Simply put, our goal is to make your life easier while providing meticulous service. We have pride in the reputation we have earned in over 30 years of delivering service and guaranteed satisfaction to residences and businesses in the Johnson County area. Custom Lawn & Landscape, Inc is a fully insured and licensed lawn. landscape and irrigation maintenance company. We are licensed by the States of Kansas & Missouri to provide outdoor pest control services as well as turf and ornamental pest control. We currently have bonding capacity to $100,000 for commercial landscape and irrigation projects. Our current staff numbers over 35 employees and we service over 2,500 clients in the South and West Kansas City Metropolitan area.

"We got one of the services canceled and made a mistake by not canceling the backflow test. Our technician did the backflow test and the charge was applied to the card that you gave us permission to put on file. That was certainly our error, and not one we have made before or plan on making again. Once we learned of the mistake, we immediately refunded the amount charged back to the card. I would highly recommend Jason for future service work.
They called on a Thursday to ask if they could come out on the following Saturday - I told them I would be out of town, and they said I didn't need to be there. I told them my lawn hadn't been mowed since Tuesday, and they said if it needed mowing when they got there, they would mow it (they didn't). It ended up raining all day Friday, but they still aerated that Saturday and when I got home on Sunday night, my lawn had at least (7) 6-12" craters that were dug up as well as a 3'x3' area of my yard that was very tore up (it didn't have much grass so was probably pretty muddy when they were there). They also left a bag of seed on my front door with no instructions as to why. -This could be normal, but I have never had this done before.-
I called to ask someone if the damage was normal and they came to look at it a few weeks after it had been aerated (not right after I called like they said they would), and also after I had spent the 2 weeks trying to fix the damaged areas. They called and said that a mole was to blame for my lawn being tore my lawn up. All of a sudden, apparently, the very same weekend they did aeration, in random spots, a mole went to town.
He also then told me how weedy my yard was and "they can help me with that", and it was also too dry and I cut my grass too short. I realize they are a business and trying to sell services, but I have been slaving over this lawn since I bought the house 3 months ago and they did not come across as trying to help, it was more shaming me into getting their services. I
Again, they got the job done, but not worth the money in my opinion for the amount or level of work provided.
