We are Your Neighborhood Plumber. We are an owner operated plumbing service company based in Johnson County, KS. We offer the service without the show. Steve Connelly started the company in 2012.Our growth will be slow and ensure we do not alienate those who use us when it was just me. We are not the best 2:00 in the morning or Christmas morning plumbers. We work by appointment. Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm* *Special accommodations can be made available if needed. The first time I used Connelly Plumbing, their poor workmanship flooded my basement, and then they tried to charge me for having to send someone to fix their mess. The second time I used them, they sent an inexperienced plumber who told me he had to remove my toilet to clean out a clogged drain pipe. He got his snake stuck and had to call for backup. The more experience plumber immediately found the cleanout, which made the removal of my toilet completely unnecessary, and within minutes, got the snake unstuck. They then charged my $400 for the completely unnecessary toilet removal. Ovoid this company at all cost.

I was so pleased that my call for a plumber was scheduled for first appointment the next morning. Adam Carter and Dom arrived promptly and set to work to figure out the source of the leak in the ceiling of my basement kitchenette. They were friendly, professional, prepared, and soon found the source of the leak in a broken black pipe joint in the floor of overhead bathroom.

My plumber of 25+ years retired therefore I forced to find another plumber. I called “Connelly Plumbing Solutions.” I found this company to be extremely professional. I received a telephone call when Brandon was on his way to my house even though he was arriving during the projected time frame. Brandon analyzed the situation and explained my options. Brandon was knowable of the products available. We came to a solution and Brandon installation was excellent. I highly recommend “Connelly Plumbing Solutions.”

The technician was friendly and knowledgeable. He completed both jobs quickly and to our satisfaction. The price was reasonable and equal to the estimate given. We used an Angie's List discount and didn't realize that he had forgotten to subtract the full amount of this discount from the total. We were contacted within an hour by the company to let us know they would be sending us a check for that amount. We hadn't even noticed! I appreciate a company that is honest, and we will be using them again for our future plumbing needs!

PS Those water heaters are exceptional. Not a problem anywhere in sight. We've had them for 3 years now I think. I know if I need Connelly Plumbing they'll call me back right away and help us out.

Overall, outstanding experience. The communication with Steve Connelly and his staff was excellent. All email responses were quick and very clear. Steve made a couple of visits to the project and had a good plan in place before starting. We set a date and time, and they showed up ready to work. The actual plumbing work was conducted by Brian. Brian was extremely professional, quiet, and "low maintenance". The finished plumbing work looked very professional and well done. A portion of the work was down in the crawl space and Brian went about the installation without a single complaint even though it was extremely hot and uncomfortable (he would laugh and say "oh, I've worked in worse places"). Great service from a local, small business owner.

Steve was very friendly and flexible in scheduling a visit. he verified the problem I was having and took about an hour to fix the issue. I am not a plumber, but it seems like the fix he came up with was more of a temporary fix than a permanent solution. He charges $39 fee just to come out regardless of anything done. He does refund that fee if the work done is over $200 dollars. He charges a flat fee to do the work which both good and bad. In this case he did an hours worth of work with about $15in parts and the charge was $234, with a $25 off coupon from his website. I guess I expected more for that amount of money. The problem is fixed, but I will probably have another plumber out to look at is for a second opinion as I don't feel the fix will hold up for the long run.

If you would still like, we could make another visit and make all connections glue and plastic without the rubber fernco coupling. No additional charges. I apologize for the frustration all around. This was our first "not great" review of the work performed as if it were “makeshift”. I can assure you it is not. It is very much a permanent solution and would be willing to extend your warranty from 1 year to 10 years. What goes into our prices is more than the PVC and fittings. We are licensed and insured for your protection, moderate amount of materials on our truck, truck payments, taxes, low overhead, office staff, gas, truck repairs and maintenance, and a thoroughly experienced plumber. We are highly competitive but not so competitive that we will be put out of business. Our aspiration is customers for life. We work hard to provide enough value to our customers for the work we do. Please let us know if you are dissatisfied in anyway so that we can correct the issue. A lower grading does nothing to remedy the situation as a first step anyway. I hope this doesn’t sour you on Connelly Plumbing Solutions in the future. Thank you for this opportunity and I am sorry your experience with us was less than you had hoped for."

backed up Plumber, Steve arrived at the scheduled time, his appearance was clean and he presented himself well. Did a good job of opening a backed up drain in a timely manner. Seems like a good guy and I hope he receives more positive reviews.

Called Steve Connelly with Connelly Plumbing and requested he check out our leaking water heater. He showed up on schedule and advised the old unit (23 years old) needed replacement. The price he quoted seemed fair so we agreed to have him do the work. He installed a new 50 gallon gas unit in a short amount of time and it has worked great since. The job was done in a clean manner and the price seemed fair.
