They do holistic work as well as veterinarian work. I looked them up for my sister's dog. I also got my beagle work done there.

I truly cannot say enough things about Dr. Tarrant, but I will try here. He is unequivocally the best vet I've ever worked with and as long as I have pets, he will be our veterinarian. From the very first time I met him to our most recent appointment several weeks ago, he has interacted with me in a professional, genuine, and friendly manner. He has a gentle, even keel nature with the dogs and always listens intently when I share my observations of the dogs behavior/symptoms. His care for my dogs has always been superb and when appropriate, he almost always suggests less invasive treatment options first, like dietary supplements/changes. I have never ever felt like the procedures suggested were anything other than necessary for diagnostic or treatment purposes. I have never felt like he is trying to up sell anything, which in retrospect, was a wonderful change from the vet we used prior to moving to KC. We have also utilized the alternative treatment available (acupuncture) and I appreciate having those options as well. His staff has always been courteous and friendly. I've always been able to schedule appointments within a very reasonable amount of time. I love that I get great care for my pets and support a local family owned practice. I recommend Dr. Tarrant without reservation! :)

The reason why I use him is because he uses and blend a wholistic and traditional veterinary practices.  I've been going to them for about four or five years.  I have a dog and a cat and they provide excellent service for both of them.

I love them. They are wonderful. They are just great people. They have excellent bedside manner with the dogs. They are very caring. I feel really comfortable taking my pet there.

It went very well. My dog was suddenly lethargic and home and wining when touched. I called Dr. Tarrant and he advised my to bring her in. It was after 5 on a Thursday before Christmas and he stayed late to examine her. Good thing, she was very sick with a high fever from an infected wound/abscess on her back we didn't know she had. Dr. Tarrant also went in to check on her Christmas Eve. She was cared for with great attention and came home a week later.
