We moved and rented our former residence. 
Pam guided us through the process of filing income and depreciation of the rental house while completing our federal, Kansas and Missouri taxes. She was very thorough and everything was well documented.  No April 15th stress!
I plan to continue to use her services.

The initial consultation was good and I provided the requested
documentation. I then had a hard time getting status updates and was
very concerned that I wouldn't be able to file my taxes on time. Right
before the April 15th deadline I did get my tax packet and was able to
file on time. I assumed the lack of responsiveness was due to the high
volume Pam was dealing with in March/April. However, I have not
received a response to a question I emailed in August although I was
told when filing my taxes that if I had any questions throughout the
year to email them and she would respond with an answer. I will be
working with a different tax professional this year and would not
recommend Pam's services due to the continued lack of responsiveness.

She was pleasant, professional and knowlegeable. I was very pleased and satisfied and would recommend her without reservation.

I took all of my tax paperwork to Pamela's office and sat down with her for about an hour to review everything. She was extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. She answered all of my questions, and gave me some great tips on how to manage some rather tricky tax situations for this year. I'm very glad that I went to her this year -- I will definitely work with her again next year!!

My first contact with Pam was through email around the beginning of March 2013. Initially, I wanted to know if she was still accepting new clients for 2013. She replied within 24 hours. She was still accepting clients, so I made an appointment for the following week, and she was more than accommodating in respect to my schedule. The purpose of the first meeting was to get an overall and quot;feeland quot; about her; find out how comfortable I felt about her knowledge and experience, and of course, to determine if she was professional (what I deem professional to be). I was extremely happy with Pam right from the beginning. She was polite and friendly. Once in her office, we dug right into my dilemma - that being that I had had two parents and a brother that had died in 2013. Thus, I inherited some assets, and I did not feel 100% confident doing my own taxes.
Pam answered all of my questions, clearly and confidently. Plus, she asked many questions about things I had not thought about. After all, this was a difficult time for me. She was both comforting and reassuring. I had brought all of my paperwork with me just in case I did feel good about our first meet. About 30 minutes into our conversation I had no doubts about Pam, so I handed my paperwork over and the work began.
Because we were able to do most of our corresponding through email and she was able to file electronically, I never had to step in her office again, but she was available for any questions or concerns. I sent many questions through email. She replied to every email within 24 hours (and usually she replied by the end of the day). I was even able to pay her over the phone. And, she NEVER made me feel like I was and quot;getting on her nerves.and quot; I know that is the way it is suppose to be, but we all know that some times it is not.
Pam completed all of my returns within 3 weeks. I was extremely happy with Pam's work, and I would recommend her to my friends and family in a minute.

She was very thorough. She met us in the evening for an appt and then mailed everything to us so was convenient. And she was 1/2 what we spent with Hand R Block last year! Great experience.

Pam Heaton failed to complete our 2012 taxes as promised, even though we had 2 prior appointments (2/27 and 4/8) where she gave no indication that she would fail to deliver.Pam took no actions to complete my taxes until 4/13/13 as far as I can tell. When I called and e-mailed her on 4/12/13 to check on the status of my taxes, I received a e-mail back late in the evening that said she would try to get to our return over the weekend (4/13-14)
She notified me on 4/13/13 (2 days before due date) that she would recommend filing an extension, because she needed to address an issue on our taxes. The problem - she knew about that issue since 2/27/13, and no action was taken.
Based on her response on 4/13, I contacted her and requested return of all my documents. I picked them up on 4/14, and scrambled to find another source.
If she did not feel that she could handle our taxes, she should have notified me before 2 days before they were due. Total lack of professionalism and responsibility. I would not recommend her.

Our tax guy disappeared for a week (probably scheduled vacation, but I hadn't checked ahead, so it's my fault). Up against a deadline and we needed a bunch of stuff done. Looked up Pamela on online sites and saw mostly good reviews. Called her up and she dropped everything, handled all my problems right away, and I know she was busy. Her rates seemed a little high, but that's my only complaint. Only reason we haven't gone back to her is our tax guy is dependable and we've used him for years and have no reason not to continue. And he's cheaper.

Our small business ran into some unexpected problems with our payroll due to bookkeeping errors from our previous accountant. Pam made arrangements to get us into her office immediately so we could get the errors corrected. She is extremely professional, as are her office staff.

The IRS served me notice that I owed several thousand dollars in back taxes. I contacted Pamela who determined very quickly that the IRS did not have all the information. Pamela filed an amended return and the IRS acknowledged that I owed no tax for 2011.

She was excellent, but it seemed to take a long time for her to do my taxes.

This was for an hour of pre-tax consulting last year, and tax prep this year. She was a refreshing example of how to engender trust in a new consulting relationship. I was very pleased with the service and will use her again.

She did very good job and I have no complaints about her. I liked her business attitude, promptness and as far as I can see she did taxes correctly.

I found Pamela Heaton on Angie's List. I had a great experience with my taxes. My taxes are fine, and I don't have any worries about the IRS.

I am waiting to hear back from her. She seemed very thorough, and I went to her because she was on Angie's List and had good reports. I am anxious to hear back from her.

Pamea was very professional, easy to talk to and clearly knows her business. She quickly identified what was missing and took care of the reports. She was prompt, professional and I would recommend her to anyone needing this kind of service.
