+ -1 moreI think Dave Maurer did a better job than the plumber that originally set the toilet. He explained that the thickness of the original wax ring was insufficient, given the level of the tile floor relative to where the sewer pipe comes up from below. Dave gave us some advice about winterizing our sprinkler system as he was working on the toilet, which added to the value of the visit. Dave has been our plumber for a number of years and seems very knowledgeable. He's nice and trustworthy, and we have found him to be extremely fair in pricing his services.
Description of Work: Master bath toilet had started to rock a bit and we had noticed some odor in the bathroom. Dave pulled the toilet, and discovered what was probably a small leak from one side of the wax ring. He installed a new wax ring and reset the toilet.
