On November 20th I had KB Complete come out to give me an estimate because my shower downstairs had cold water but not hot water. There was no leaking. Also, the pop-up drain in my Home Depot vanity upstairs was leaking and was stuck in the open position. Nick came out, I told him I had looked up the drain for my fancy vanity and there were three sizes he had to take it out and measure the hole in the glass bowl to find the correct size of the drain. He did not do that. He told me it would be 1222.00 we asked for both because I told him that was all I could afford at the time. I said because I can wash my hands in the kitchen if I have to. He said, “yes for both.” I said OK and it was scheduled for Dec 2nd. On December 2nd Nick came back and started working on my sink, while he waited for someone to come out to help with the shower downstairs. He told me they gave him the wrong size drain, I have to leave and come back. I said I told you to measure the bowl for the correct size when you were here the last time. Now you have to come back again? He said I will be right back; I’m still waiting on the other guy. He did make it back in about an hour and the other guy was right behind him. They went right downstairs. With a few issues, they finished up down there and got everything working. Then he came up and replaced the drain in my sink. Then he came to me and told me he was done, and took me into the bathroom, and showed me the drain. It does not pop-up, it does not even close. He said Home Depot did not have the correct kind and he will have to order me the correct kind. Then he said the price was 1515.00 I said you told us it was 1222.00 He said that was for the basement only. My son-in-law and I both said that is not what you told us when you were here. He said well I sent you an estimate with that price. I said I did not get an estimate from you. He said I emailed it to you, I said I did not get anything from you, so he sent it to me again. It did not come from KB Complete, it came from Successware21. Since this was not from KB Complete it went to my SPAM filter and never made it to my email. I paid the bill, I should not have but I did. I waited over a week and never heard back from Nick but I got an email asking me how my appointment went and I said it was not good. I was told to call, so I did and I was told by the lady that answered the phone that Nick’s supervisor would call me. Rusty did call me and listened to what happened. He told me that they have their meetings on Thursday’s and he would discuss this issue with Nick, the office staff about why the email came from Sucessware21, and the owner about why I was charged a different amount than what I was told. I did not hear back from him so on December 14th I called Rusty and was told Nick had done the estimate incorrectly on the IPad that’s why it came from Sucessware21, he said it took him and the office staff hours to figure that out. He said Nick had ordered the correct part but that he ordered it in the wrong way not on a PO so Home Depot could not find the order. I am still waiting for the correct drain, ANY response from the owner as to why I was told one price and charged 293.00 more frankly anything from this incompetent company.

I will never use this company again. Originally I called due to my AC unit freezing up. My thermostat is on the top floor and the air flow isn't great up there so its always hot. Causing my AC to run constantly. I figured I probably needed more Freon or there was an obstruction in my vent restricting the air flow. After the technician showed up and I explained the situation he said my unit is probably frozen (which I already told him it was). I had started defrosting my unit roughly two hours prior to his arrival. He told me, to speed up the process, I should turn my furnace on. Which I did, I, ME. Which helped. As you can see in the attached receipt they charged me $170 (AFTER discount) to defrost my unit which (again) I had started to do two hours prior and he did absolutely nothing to defrost it. They charged me $128 PER POUND for Freon which you can buy a 10LB tank for $180. Which means they charge SEVEN times the cost. Not including the cost to actually put the Freon in the system which is a whopping $91 (AFTER discount). They also charged $189 (AFTER discount) for a $50 can of easy seal that I NEVER saw him put in my unit. That's all the "discount" price if you purchase the yearly member plan. In summation their prices are OUTLANDISH and downright CRIMINAL. I talked to my uncle they day after who is an heating and cooler technician himself. He's had his own business for over 30 years in Sedalia, MO (Diamond W). I showed him my receipt and explained the entire situation and he would have charged $300 for EVERYTHING. I made a HUGE mistake calling this terrible company to begin with. I honestly don't know how they sleep at night knowing they are straight ROBBING people. NEVER NEVER NEVER go with KB Complete. They are criminals.

My furnace was on the brink...going from warm to cold and back to warm again...the serviceman informed me that since it was 25 years old it needed to be replaced. From that moment on the experience was like a dream. Cory arrived within the promised time frame and explained my options. He was personable and very clear and concise making sure I understood cost vs efficiency. The installation team arrived just when expected and together all of them worked diligently to get my new furnace working on the coldest day of the year so far....I was lucky. But they were able to make it happen! And on a Friday afternoon....with smiles! Each and every one of them were professional. I'm very particular when it comes to customer service and these guys were all top notch! I've been a customer of theirs for the past 12 years but never really had any reason to have this type of interaction with multiple team members before now and golly I'm glad I've remained a good customer because it really paid off! Not to mention that they have been servicing my unit for the past 25 years - way before my ownership. Anyway... I have only high praise for this organization...from the call center to the schedulers....they took my calls seriously when I called to say my unit was being iffy.....they got someone out here pronto! Kudos to you KB! KC is lucky to have you!

I had 3 companies quote my HVAC replacement. One of them was WAY overpriced. The other 2 companies came in right about the same price. My reason for going with KB is the fact that I have been a customer for almost 5 years now. The only reason I had the other quotes is because this was a very large expense and I had never had to do anything like this before since this is my first home and I wanted to make sure I got the right deal. I have always been extremely happy with KB's service. I am on their annual maintenance program and everyone that has come to check my AC or heater has been great. They are always right on time, they call and let you know they are coming which is great because then I can go to work and not have to wait at home for them. They call about 30 minute in advance and I can go home to meet them. They are very professional and very courteous when they are here. They answer any questions that I have and are extremely polite. I have no qualms about recommending KB to anyone who asks who I use for my HVAC needs. This is a great company run by a local family and I love to support local business when I can. The customer service from them is also outstanding, and that is a HUGE issue for me. If I do not get good customer service I usually do not use that provider again. I am in a customer service type job, so if they don't treat me as I would treat myself, I move on, but that is a non issue here as everyone I have dealt with at this company is top notch! Others times over the years, I have also used this company for a few different plumbing issues that I have had and again, the service has always been great. I will continue to use KB for projects that I have for the foreseeable future.

Great from the start. The did what they said they would when they said they would. I find that very refreshing. Their proposed solution was just what we needed. I was very pleased with the work they did. The group that worked on the project, Casey, JJ and Kelly were always on task, considerate of the disruptions and pleasant to work with. They answered by questions, made suggestions for improvements and left the place in great shape. I could not have asked for a better experience. I have used KB for heating, cooling and plumbing the whole time I have lived here (28 years) and was so pleased when they moved into doing electrical. They are my first and only call when I have an issue

Highly recommend! We are in the process of some home remolding and need to take care of some fundamental home issues before we start. We had two different techs from KB Complete come out and we're absolutely glad we did. Erik S. is the gentlemen we're working with for a sump pump. Can't say enough about this guy. He's very professional, very knowledgeable, and beyond that, just a very personable and easy guy to talk to. Very important to me when you are inviting people into your home whom you don't know. After multi visits from other companies, it was Erik that discovered (or at least told us) that we qualified for a program through the county that would help us save money and has done a very diligent and timely job in facilitating that. Dereck H. is the other gentlemen we worked with on troubleshooting some electrical issues. Same, is true of Dereck - very personable and easy to talk to and very knowledgeable in his field. We've been having issues with flickering lights for a few years now and after multiple visits from electricians and the electric company, nothing had been solved. Until now. He was quick to troubleshoot what he thought was the issue, contacted the electrical company and facilitated a visit from them (the problem he thought of was the responsibility of the electrical company and not something a private company is allowed to do). Thankfully, he was here when the electrical company came by and worked with them in diagnosing the problem. While, the electric company did a great job in fixing the problem, I have to give Dereck a lot of credit for getting us to that point. All said, I've been very pleased with KB Complete and their two techs, Erik and Dereck, that have gone above and beyond to help us.

I pay $189 for a contract for 2 visits, one on the air conditioner and one on the furnace. A all the way down. I got them coming out again in October. I use them because I checked around and they had the best price and best reviews. The workers were good, good.

I don't really think the new capacitor was needed but approved the installation. Service technician thought that the R-22 leaked out due to previous contractor leaving brass caps off of the fill fitting, but I find that highly doubtful. I have since changed out the furnace and air conditioner, but did not request a quote from this contractor due to this experience.

We have been using KB Complete for all our A/C and Heating needs since we bought our home in KCK just over two years ago. We have always been completely satisfied with the services and price. We purchased the annual maintenance program and Justin was here a couple of weeks ago to check our A/C unit. He gave it a thorough inspection and cleaning in about a hour, and left us with a summary sheet that noted his findings.

They were so wonderful. The woman on the phone (I wish I had gotten her name) reassured me that someone would be at my house by 2:00 p.m. Mike C. showed up just after 1:00 and had it unclogged, provided me with instructions on not packing my disposal in the future with left over salad and rice, etc. He even cleaned up the yucky sink when he was done. Just great service!! We used them once before (last year) and were just as impressed then. We'll definitely call them back.

The service professionals were very courteous. The electrician that installed the electrical panel even moved our original appointment to check out the problem up because he didn't want to take the chance that there might be a problem that would cause a fire.

They come twice a year on a regular basis. We have the same technician that comes. In the fall, he tests our furnace. In the Spring, he tests our air conditioning. He changes filters and stuff along with regular maintenance. We intend to always use their services.
