Jim and Rosemary McCoy presented their proposal with happy faces and a decent price. They replaced some trim boards and sealed the stucco. When they came back for inspection (and payment), we told them they did not paint the trim, and there was a lot of overspray. We asked them to replace some trim boards on the chimney, and they noticed a window that needed repair and bid on that. When they came to do the trim, they did not paint the trim in full as they quoted, but just touched up spots, mostly their overspray. Mr. McCoy acted perturbed that he had to paint the trim at all. We paid them for the job, and they said they'd return the following week to finish the job. From that point on, we had difficulty getting them to return our calls. It took a month before we could get them to return. They replaced the lower trim boards on the chimney but not the higher ones. When Rosemary called for additional payment, we advised they did not finish the job. We have not heard from them since.
