I have never written a review on Angie's List before, but I feel so strongly about the poor quality and unprofessionalism of this carpenter that I am hoping to spare someone else the stress and disappointment that my husband and myself have experienced. The list of faults regarding this project are so many that I would prefer not to write them all out, but let's just say that you CAN and SHOULD find a different carpenter. Through the entirety of this project we had many friends, family and other contractors say that we should find someone else, and in hindsight I can sadly agree that they were so very right. In the end, the project was completed, although it took our plumber and tile guys handiwork to get the job done right. Lesson learned.

He was kind of flaky. He was not here or would not show up on time and felt like he had a lot going on. The experience was not nice. I spent $600 on that work. I would not recommend him to other members and I would not even call him or use him anymore. He had issues, he did not show up on time and some days it would be a no call no show. Even the work was not up to my satisfaction. The price was high considering that he did not do quality work and even if he was cheaper I would let everyone know his work is not so good. They were bad. The measurements were crooked and were off. When I first met him, he was okay and he was on it but his prices were high. He did go through a lot the last year. The overall experience was pretty poor. He had quoted $2500 to do the mantel which would have been $550 to $600.
