Todd, Luke and Chad did a fabulous job. They were always prompt, cleaned up each day and responded immediately to my questions and concerns. Very pleasant and unobtrusive. Finished product is very high quality.

It went well.  They did quality work for a middle-of-the-road price.  I was very satisfied with the results.

Gave a "B" because we were very happy with the roof and paint, but not as happy with the gutters and trim repair which overall is a small percentage of the whole project. We went with Trendsetters because of their ability to manage the multiple projects we needed done. There were other bids that came in lower and with more references but I would have had to be the project manager and coordinate between trades and I simply did not have the time. Phil informed me he would be using sub's for the roof and painting and my only requests were to talk with the roofer to ensure my needs were addressed to prevent a repeat of the mistakes that the previous roofers made. I felt my concerns were adequately addressed verbally and we moved forward and work started after thanksgiving. I was happy with the painters and roofers and had only minor issues. The roofers attempted to be proactive with the debris around the house by laying tarps but anything that did not land on the tarps was left in the yard after their "final cleanup". I finally picked up the debris they left myself because I got tired of waiting for someone to return to finish the cleanup. The painters only mistake was they failed to prime the steel doors and now there is some peeling and crackling in the paint, but only on those steel surfaces. I'm an electrician so I can't say whether the gutters were improperly installed or if there is a larger issue but during the last blizzard we had excessive ice build up behind the gutters and in some cases coming from the soffit vents and down the walls. I've taken pictures of the ice and called Phil asking about the 1 year guarantee and he has yet to investigate the problem. The trendsetters crew worked primarily on the window trim, soffit and fascia repair and cedar shake siding repairs. I had originally asked for all the soffits and fascia board to be replaced because of what I perceived to be mold and rot but according to them, only a few spots needed replacement and the rest needed cosmetic repair. I did not get a change order to reflect that material being removed from the original bid. My wife reported while they were removing the window trim where it needed replacement, the workers were so rough the walls were bowing out and we suffered some interior drywall damage. Phil repaired the areas where the damage was extensive but only as far as resetting a window sill and putting some spackle in the cracks. I had to sand and paint the damaged areas myself. In all the house had a drastic improvement in appearance and unless you really inspect the details it looks very good, but after spending a third of my yearly salary to remedy years of weather and age damage I personally expected a bit more attention to detail. My prime complaints are the workmanship as far as details and the utter lack of response to my concerns after the final payment was made. I requested multiple times to get an itemized receipt for the project so I can submit to the IRS for the energy star shingles we had installed but I imagine I'll get that as soon as they inspect the cause of all the irregular ice flow. Were just glad t it over and nothing they did caused any problems beyond my own abilities to repair.
