I brought my Bernese Mountain dog puppy here for the surgery from Denver. I have family nearby and used it as an excuse to visit family as well. My experience was excellent from scheduling to discharge. It was apparent the faculty, residents and students care about their patients and the quality of care they offer. Compared to other quotes I received for this surgery, it was an excellent value as well. I recommend them highly! The pictures shown are: Day 2 post op with an ice pack against her belly Picture of how much her belly was shaved (more than I expected) Hair growing back Happy dog who is wearing her K-state bows - GO Wildcats!

They were prompt, thorough, and very kind. A student greeted us and brought us to a room where she asked questions about my kitten's health. She did a quick physical while we talked. She then took him back into an exam room where she met with the vet (instructor), and they performed the deworming. When he was brought back to the room the student cleaned his ears, and the Vet came to ask me if I had any questions.

KSU vet does a great job. They can be trusted to take care of your animal. Vet was very critical of my not brushing my dogs teeth often enough and that I have not had him fixed - even though I ensure that my dog is NEVER given the opportunity to breed. Vet seemed very critical all around even though my dog is in great shape and well taken care of, but in the end, the care KSU provides is the best I've ever found. KSU is also the most expensive vet I've ever found, but I love my dog so it's worth it to me. I have visit scheduled with KSU to get my dog's eye checked, so I will definitely be using them again.

Comparing it to what it would have cost us locally, they were 500 dollars cheaper. Dr Lyon is a very caring veterinarian. He had differential diagnosis so he explained everything to us. He diagnosed what was wrong with my cat when four other doctors didn't. He was very good.
