The service went fine except the technician forgot to reset the breaker for the furnace. My family did not notice this until the next morning when it was fairly cold in the house. We contacted the company and they promptly sent out a technician to investigate why the furnace wasn't turning on. Once he arrived he quickly identified and corrected the oversight and we were not charged for a weekend service call.

They did a great job considering it is a 20 year old air condition. He created a part to fit in. He was nice. We were satisfied with the plumbing work. They worked with the line to the manhole. They changed the part. The new part was longer so it had to be shortened but nobody came out to do the job. They were not enthusiastic to come and do it. Other than that the employees have been very nice and pleasant. They are polite and respectful.

So, we got home from vacation to find out our furnace wasn't working.
We called Reid on a Sunday, and we were able to get in touch with a
technician within 15 minutes. He told us he would be here in 15-20 min,
it was closer to an hour before he finally arrived.
He was able to
make a diagnosis and replace a part, the repair guy was extremely
professional and very nice. We left our home about 30 minutes after the
repair and came home a few hours later to find that the furnace was no
longer working. I am waiting on a second trip out here, and have no
idea how much this is going to cost, but I'm not thrilled that the
repair didn't even last the day! So the guy came out a second time and somehow rigged the furnace so that it would work, and said he needed to replace the part that he had put in earlier that day (maybe it was a "bad part") but didn't have any others on his truck. He said he would have to order it and could be by on Wednesday around lunch time.
Wednesday rolls around, and I finally get a call late in the afternoon and comes over to replace the part. That all goes smoothly, again the guy is super nice and professional, but he mentions to me that the part he put in on Sunday technically didn't have the right specs for our furnace- he just assumed it would work.
So, come to get the bill, and they charged us both for the work on Sunday AND coming back on Wednesday. We are arguing the bill because quite frankly its not my fault or problem that he didn't have the parts he needed and I don't feel that we should be paying for the second trip out. Overall the guy was nice, I just wish he had been more upfront the first time and explained that the part wasn't quite right. If he had told me that, I would have just had waited until later in the week to get it fixed properly.

He explained that there was more work that needed to be done, than I believed needed to be done. He really did not do much work. He only got the roto rotor stuck in the drain. He kept fiddling with it. Had he done the job the price would have been fine.

Scheduling was a bit of a problem, but that was more due to difficulties caused our busy schedule rather than any problem Reid's had dispatching a technician. When the technician arrived, he was quick, neat and efficient in diagnosing the problem and replacing the broken components.

They performed the work quickly and professionally, and the work appears to be excellent and high quality. I admire their ability to see smart, workable solutions to potentially difficult challenges in renovating older homes. Fair, honest. Highly recommended.

Quickly, within days of my calling (not an emergency). The workman was courteous and covered the carpet with drop cloths to avoid dragging dirt across my floor.
